Patrol Time [Open]

Crowflight sat at the edge of their territory. It was absurd that they couldn't go into their own territory without having to be cautious. Eventually they would get it all back. Eventually. He reassured himself. He looked back waiting on the apprentices to come join him. Wildpaw, and Poppypaw specifically, but others were free to join as well.

Wildpaw reached the edge of the territory to meet his mentor. "Hey Crowflight!" he said as he arrived. "Are we going on a patrol?"

Pebblepaw padded out near them, blinking her green eyes. "Oh! A patrol? May I join?" She asked, glancing to Crowflight and Wildpaw. She smiled a bit, making her more approachable.

Another apprentice came padding in after his sister, his blue eyes gazing around curiously. He tried to crane his neck up to see if he could find the tops of the trees before them, but they were so high! They seemed to brushed against the clouds themselves! "Do the trees ever stop growing?" Rainpaw wondered aloud, not expecting an answer.

Mapledrop padded over and flicked her tail in greeting at her deputy. "May i join as well?" The dark red she cat blinked warm liquid amber eyes.

Sedgepaw trudged from the shadows, his eyes dull with boredom. He wanted to join a patrol as well. His heart burned to reclaim their captured territory. "I'm coming along," he said flatly, nosing past the other apprentices to face Crowflight. He twitched an ear with irritation, impatient to begin the patrol.

Fallencloud padded over with Ghostpaw. "Can we join to?" the tom meowed looking to Ghostpaw to see if she wanted to join.

The quiet silver she cat nodded in approval, and sat down flicking her tail.

Poppypaw scampered up to her mentor, a bright smile on her face. This was her first patrol! How exciting! The tortoiseshell she-cat purred at the sight of her siblings Pebblepaw and Rainpaw, and her friend Wildpaw. There were a few unfamiliar faces, but she was sure she would get along well with them.

"Sorry it took me so long! My fur just wouldn't stay down!" she apologized to Crowflight.

Crowflight looked around at the many apprentice's that had appeared, but he was glad when two warriors showed up to help out. He could really use it to keep an eye on all of these apprentices. "You can all join." He felt satisfied with the number of people in the patrol. They could fend for themselves if they ran into some danger. He waited for a moment longer before standing from his spot. "Alright let's go." With that he walked into their territory. Their home.

Pinepaw rushed after the patrol, jumping over tree roots in an attempt to catch up with his mentor. "I'm coming too!" The tomcat came to pad slightly behind Mapledrop. He shook out his pelt, soon catching his breath.

Wildpaw took a deep breath. So this is what home looked and smelled like. He looked back to see Pinepaw rushing towards their group. "Better late than never, I guess." he said to the tomcat.
