Medicine Cat Meeting 05/27/16

Dawnflower sat at the entrance to mother mouth waiting on the other medicine cats. She didn't know why she came here. It wasn't like Starclan was going to answer them. She knew Starclan was gone, the dark forest already made their attempts on Shadowclan, took one of Thrushstar's lives while they were at it. Thankfully loves for the leaders still worked even with Starclan not in their skies. There was also the fact that Mossheart died due to kitting complications and there was absolutely nothing the light colored Medicine cat could do.. The older medicine cat's head hung a bit lower than normal, and it seemed her spunk was gone.

Emberleaf padded toward the Highstones, looking back every now and then to make sure that both Cloudpaw and Leafpaw were following him. He had stopped by Riverclan on the way to pick up Cloudpaw and bring him to the meeting, because he was sure that Cloudpaw wouldn't remember the way to the Moonstone. "Greetings, Dawnflower," Emberleaf purred while he approached. The tom's light attitude and bouncy mood brightened the rather dreary day.

Cloudpaw was right behind Emberleaf, white tail high in the air. He had gotten bigger since the last time he'd been here, but as he looked up at the stalactites, he couldn't help but feel tiny again. Tearing his gaze from the rocks, he greeted Dawnflower, hiding his anxiety, but not his excitement. "I'm Cloudpaw! It's nice to meet you!" His eyes flickered around the she-cat's face. She seemed to have something on her mind, so he backed off a bit.

Dreamleaf padded up to the other medicine cats and dipped her head.
"Greetings," Dreamleaf smiled.

"Greetings all of you." Dawnflower responded in a bit of a monotone. "Glad you could join us Cloudpaw. I guess that leaves Acornheather, and Oceanpaw to join us?" The Shadowclan medicine cat asked. She didn't know how much longer they could wait on them. She had some important news to share, and some knowledge to gain. Though this time she would be gaining knowledge from the other medicine cats not Starclan, for they were gone.
