Silent Greetings (Open)

Viperfang heard her sister's comment and it only made her anger flare more. "I dont know, Tigerstorm! Why dont you ask Webtail here! He seems to act like he knows everything!" she yowled at her sister, motioning to Webtail with her unsheathed claws.

Webtail stayed quiet for a moment before looking at Tigerstorm. "It's nothing important.. You shouldn't get stressed out, it isn't good for a queen." He attempted a cheery tone but it faltered. He clearly ignored Viperfang, looking only at Tigerstorm, slightly flinching at the harsh tone of the other.

Tigerstorm flattened her ears against her sister's outburst. Whatever happened seemed to have really gotten under her skin, and the queen was rather alarmed. "Stress isn't good for anyone. Looks like it's been bothering more than me, too." She meowed to Webtail, giving a sympathetic glance. She hadn't noticed anything abnormal about Webtail's behavior besides yelling, and she knew that her littermates occasionally got into little arguments, though she never knew why. "I don't understand why you two do this so much. What could be so serious that it can't be solved peacefully? I'd hate to see either of you get injured because of a disagreement when we should be working together for the benefit of ShadowClan." There it was. She didn't mean to lecture or anything like that, but she wanted them to understand how bad it was that they argued like this. There was no way it would help anyone, especially when claws were being unsheathed.

Viperfang quietly mumbled under her breath as Tigerstorm spoke, thought not loud enough for anyone to hear. Uh! She's acting like Shimmerheart! Maybe I wouldn't argue with Webtail if he wasn't such a mouse-brained furball! she thought angrily.

Webtail shuffled his paws, rolling a pebble between them. He decided to stay quiet. What he would give for this quarrel to just end! But, it seemed he'd be in thus for as long as he had a voice.
