We Rise Above [Phase Two Gathering]

Crowstar fell silent as the leader began to speak. His ears fell felt against his head at the cat's voice it was a bit unsettling but his words were true. Crowstar lost Breezestar, and he didn't do anything about it, he couldn't have done anything about it. He did need to protect his clan, but he wasn't to fond about the things they were saying about Starclan. Starclan gave him his lives, but starclan didn't stop Breezestar from being killed. They had let him die on his way to speak to them. His yellow eyes narrowed, and he looked to the leader waiting for him to continue.

Frostfall listened silently along with the leader was saying. She was silently nodding along with what he was saying. She had fallen behind others in her training, granted she was a warrior now, but still she is small, and most cats think she is weak because she is small and can't do anything. She never wanted to feel like that. She never wants someone to look down on her because of her size. She wants to be feared. And these cats can help her.

Jaypaw starred, he turned a bit over to Scorchpaw but quickly turned his gaze to the leader.

Nettletail nodded, her heart burning with passion as she heard the words. It was so true... All she wanted was to help. And the way to do that was to be strong... Stronger than those weaklings. Stronger than that kit Pebblethorn! Where was Lost?

Amberclaw stayed silent like the rest of the cats around him, "this is it, I can finally have the power I need, I have watched many cats die, my love of my life died, she was why I still wanted to be in this horrible world. Starclan could have stopped it but they didn't, now it is my turn." He said very quietly with his heart burning at the thought not wanting others to see his weakness and grief.

Treestep let out a yowl of agreement despite the silence after the leader said the wise words, "Starclan could easily have stopped so many disaster but they didn't want to get the stupid paws dirty huh." She spat at the surrounding cats, she was finally where she belonged.

Jaypaw slightly smiled, he would finally get the power he would desire. He sharpened his gaze "Scorchpaw this is it, we'll become powerful! We'll rule the forest!" he whispered to Scorchpaw through his ear.

Lionpaw turned her large head to face the new cat on the tree. He was a handsome tom and Lionpaw narrowed her eyes in lust. Much better looking than Goosepaw. the she-cat agreed to herself, inching closer to the tree. However, the young she-cat disagreed with what she was saying. She was always better than the other apprentices. Always strong. Never lost anyone. Would they exclude her then? Nervousness temporarily fired through her. She liked it here so far, and did not want to leave. They'd be fools to kick me out. Lionpaw comforted herself, calming down and keeping her blue eyes on the russet cat above her.

Jaypaw turned to Lionpaw and hissed, he turned back to Scorchpaw "I bet we could beat that old fleabag!" he murmured into Scorchpaw's ear again.

Cinnamonpaw was listening and nodded, intrigued by the current events.

Scorchpaw chuckled a bit. "While your enthusiasm is going to prove useful, I don't think it's the greatest idea to go off picking fights with our allies... especially that one. She seems very prickly to me," he whispered quietly. He didn't want any more issues with a cat like that. She gave him the jitters, despite his thick exterior.

Jaypaw nodded "True, but that doesn't mean you wont be stronger later on" he murmured again.

Nettletail snorted at the apprentices bickering in the corner. They really shouldn't fight amongst themselves... It was the outsiders, like ThunderClan and WindClan, and the medicine cats.. and impostors like Pebblethorn... who they needed to attack. She waited for Lost or other Dark Forest cats to appear.

Jaypaw turned to Nettletail, he slightly growled. He didn't like the warrior much for some reason.

She padded over to where scorchpaw was sitting and sighed "can you help me?" She shook in place as she tried to figure out how she would say this.

Lightingpaw grimanced as he felt the cold seep into his pelt, the once bright fur was now peppered with mud. He growled and stood up before blinking in surprise at the grim gathering. He spotted his sister and slowly mad his way to the she-cat. "Cinnamonpaw? Where are we?" He hissed in her ear as he looked around.

Webtail decided to try and ignore Scorchpaw for the rest of the gathering else, he'd probably attack the apprentice. He searched for his mentor in the crowd, spotting Smokestorm and feeling rather embarrassed that his emotions had gotten to him while the tom was around, hoping the tom still thought he had the potential for his teachings.

Scorchpaw nodded, patting the spot next to him with his tail, drawing Cinnamonpaw nearer. "You can ask me anything." He turned to Lightningpaw. "You don't recognize it? We're in the Dark Forest. It's amazing here, you'll see. Just sit down, they'll explain soon!" he whispered with a sharp edge to his voice. He leaned closer to Cinnamonpaw. "What's troubling you?"
