We Rise Above [Phase Two Gathering]

Nettlepaw was sitting near Lightningpaw and Scorchpaw, he was just listening to all of their murmurs and tried to pin point weakness to all of them, but it was difficult...

A mute purr of satisfaction rumbled Morningstar's throat. It seemed these cats were fit to become stronger. "There is a way to accomplish that, cats of all clans." He gave them a moment to let that sink in, a glint of yellow glimmered in his eyes as they reflected the minute light that the dark forest had to offer. "Here, you can learn much more than what your clan can teach you." His voice seemed to lure the attention of the cats, his gaze landing on the young apprentices who chattered among themselves. "Here, we have the best fighters known to roam the clans. Much more collective knowlage than your clans combined. You will be able to protect those you wish to. Along with growing your fighting prowess." With a swish of his tail, Morningstar continued. "Doesn't that sound lovely?"

Jaypaw nodded, hoping the leader wouldn't know though.

Nettletail nodded emphatically, swishing her spiky tail. How many more times must she prove her loyalty? She would walk to Silverpelt and back for these cats... her family.

Scorchpaw was ready, determined to live up to what his father was, a powerful, strong cat. He nudged Cinnamonpaw, urging her to stand tall.

Nettlepaws ears rose and he sat up straight with a smirk, he liked the sound of that.

Webtail looked up at the leader as Morningstar spoke, his ears forward as his gaze showing nothing of the emotion he had shown just moments ago. He followed the speaker's gaze and felt a pit in his stomach when he saw Lightningpaw among the apprentices. Would Scorchpaw tell Lightningpaw about Cinnamonpaw's roots? 

Lightningpaw gave Scorchpaw an odd look when he nudged Cinnamonpaw's shoulder before allowing his eyes to Morningstar as the leader looked down at them, the odd tone in his voice drew him in even further.

As Nettlepaw was about to give his attention to Morningstar, he saw a familiar head of Webtail. He silently padded up to his fellow warrior and sat by him "Hello, Webtail...fancy seeing you here" he mewed quietly.

The leader bowed his head and finished his speech with a dismissive sway of his tail. "For now, get your rest and train hard. You will see us again soon. That I can promise." He lifted his head higher almost yellow eyes staring down at the group of cats below him. "Keep this memory to yourselves. Goodbye for now." Many of the cats did not get to say their goodbyes as their minds slipped away. many would wake up to find their clan beginning to awake. The sun hidden behind a grey blanket of clouds. With the dream not far behind, how will they take on the day? Attacking it with vigorous training, or bathe themselves in whatever sunlight they can get, contemplating their latest dreams.
