Ivory And Aspen - The Friendship Tales {Closed}

Aspenkit had been playing in a pile of mud by himself, seeing how he was the first one out because all the other kits were in their nests. His mother and father were inside with his many siblings, and all he wanted to was play. He considered himself the best one in his litter, even if he knew that wasn't true at all. He loved his family and friends, but just thought he should always be leader of them. He felt it was his role. In the few minutes while he was alone, he sulked, for he felt for the first time that he may be lonely.
His head turned at the sound of pawsteps. Ivorykit! I haven't talked to her yet.

Ivorykit had wanted a breath of fresh-air, the sweet musk of flowers and the trees in New-leaf. The bushy leaves on the trees and the scent of the herbs in the medicine cat den. And of course, the scent of other cats. They were a clan at all, a close family bonded by genetics as well as beliefs. Her eyes were open, not like it mattered. Her clouded vision clearly visible when put by a normal cat. Normal... Huh? She thought to herself. In comparison Her eyes had a layer of white blur and were not clear. She felt like crying but it was no use, crying wouldn't solve anything.

Suddenly she heard the foot steps of a lone kit, she could tell from her practice of hearing rather than sight. She sat down, assuming that the kit would come to her. Because she was blind after all and did not want to run into the river!

Aspenkit padded over, seeing Ivorykit sit down. Why'd she sit? He pondered to himself as he made his way over. He sat down in front of her, and noticed her eyes were clouded and white. Can she see with those clouds over her eyes? He questioned, confused. He shrugged it off and spoke. "Hiya. I'm Aspenkit. You're Ivorykit, right? I haven't met you before, my mother just introduced me." He greeted, smiling some.

The she-kit accidently turned the wrong way. And she replied while facing the wrong way, "Yes my name is Ivorykit, how are you?" "and nice to meet you." she continued facing the wrong way.

Confused at the direction she was facing, he spoke of it. "Hey, um, I'm over here. Uh, I'm good! And you? It's nice to meetcha, too." He replied. Maybe that cloud makes her not see! He thought, but chose not to speak of that.

She kinda jumped a little bit and turned the way the kit's voice was calling. "I could be better, but couldn't we all?" She said this with a chuckle that formed in the back of her throat.

"Ha, I guess so." He replied awkwardly. He shuffled is paws. "So, uh, wanna do something?" He asked.

"sure what would that thing be?" You could tell that she had interest in her voice.

"Hm... Pebble toss?" He asked quietly, knowing she could do that with the cloud eyes.

"pebble..... toss?" she asked questioningly. "I have never played that before!" she said full of excitement at the new idea.

"Hee! Good. I just made it up." He explained. "Basically, you take a pebble. I'll get you one, since I think your eyes have clouds and maybe they don't let your eyes work right, since... Nevermind. And you just toss it. I'll tell you who got farther in the toss, and we see who wins!" He explained.

"That sounds great!" she looked really happy and forgot about all her troubles.

"Awesome! Here, grab these, and chuck 'em." He said, tossing her some pebbles he found. They landed before her paws, easy to grab. He got some himself and waited for her to take her turn.

She felt around to see where they were and flipped her paw over, to where the pad was. And scooped it up really quick and threw it. (brb)

Aspenkit watched the pebble fly, but with her absence of sight her aim was off. That's okay though! She tried! And threw it really far! It had landed in a bush. He trotted over and moved it out of the bush, still just as far as she threw it so it wasn't cheating. He went back over to her and threw his pebble, landing a fox length before hers. "Darn! You won, Ivorykit!" He exclaimed. "Good job!" He squeaked.
