The Dark, the Tiger, and the Panther

OOC- It's Mink, not Mint

IC- Minkkit squeaked as she was attacked. She pushed Darkkit off of her as he pushed her over by ramming into her side. But as Pantherkit attacked her, she was more surprised and hurt than angry. "Get off of me, you foxdung!" She hissed, getting up and throwing him off by force of her body. "No claws!" She hissed, pinning Darkkit and Pantherkit down with her bigger paws. She was roughly five moons old, and she wasn't taking no crap today. As soon as she had the two pinned down well enough, she looked around. "Where are you parents? I think you three should take a nap, you'll feel better after!" She chirped brightly, still holding them down tight. Even if she was only a little bigger than them, she was strong and tough.

Finchpaw looked at Minkkit "I'm looking for someone" she mewed still searching "If they could control themselves that would great!" she was sarcastic that time "Can you help I have my eye on those three" she turned her gaze on them.

Falconkit seethed in anger, glaring down at Tigerkit. "Look at what you started!" Falvonkit growled.

Kestrelstorm was just returning from the Thuder... er hunting when he saw the back of Falconkit and Minkkit and three of the youngest kittens. They were yowling and hissing, but the glint of claws and an angry Finchpaw drew him over. "What's going on?" demanded the tall warrior, staring down all of the kits with fierce orange eyes. "Falconkit, Minkkit. Get off of them and stand by Finchpaw." he ordered harshly, staring down his son as he reluctantly let Tigerkit up and moved by the apprentice's side.

Finchpaw took a deep breath "It was a normal day, I was going to meet them. Minkkit was with me as well, Tigerkit turned around and saw both of us. We were introducing ourselves then Tigerkit got angry, Falconkit came and pinned down Tigerkit. I tried to stop them but they wouldn't listen, Minkkit tried to stop it as well. she got scratched by Pantherkit and Darkkit. She pinned them down and I tried to look for a warrior to sort this stuff out because they wouldn't listen to me." she explained calmly. She looked up at Kesterelstorm "Am I in trouble?"

Kestrelstorm shook his head. "No, of course not. You are not responsible for wrestling kits. You did the right thing." he praised in a calm tone before turning to the largest of the new kits, and whom mostly resembled a tiger. "But you, young kit, seemed to have been the starter of this. What do you say to your Finchpaw and Minkpaw for being so rude?" he prompted Tigerkit, his orange eyes staring down the kit as he would stare down a grown warrior in battle.

ooc: Oh, I'm so sorry, I feel so stupid right now. I'll fix it in a second.

ic: "What I started? If that clumsy Minkkit hadn't of ran into me, none of this would've happened! It's her fault!" The kit squirmed and thrashed under Falconkit, until he heard the voice of an older tom and Falconkit had gotten off of him. With an angry huff, Tigerkit scrambled to his paws and looked over at his brothers. When the warrior addressed him, he sucked in an angry breath. "What? I didn't start this! I won't apologize until they do it first."

Darkkit squealed as he was pinned down by the she-kit's bigger paws. "We don't have parents, you stupid head! They are dead." No matter how much it hurt him to admit it, it was his anger flare that had pulled the words right out of his mouth.

Pantherkit yelped while Minkkit threw him off and pinned him down. He wriggled under her until Darkkit spoke about their parents, then he stopped moving altogether and stared at his little brother, saddened that he had said it out loud. Neither of the three brothers liked talking about their parents, so it surprised Pantherkit that Darkkit would say such a thing.

Kestrelstorm growled at the young kit, stepping so he was looming right over him. "Say sorry, or you'll be picking the elder's bedding for a moon." He threatened in a low growly voice.

Of course there was commotion in camp. When was there not commotion? Lightfoot padded through the gorse tunnel with the sound of kits and a warrior talking, and it sounded like an argument or a scrap. Lightfoot, who was carrying a rabbit in his jaws, set the prey on the fresh-kill pile and calmly walked over. "Kestrelstorm, there's really no need to threaten the kits." The elder warrior meowed calmly, surveying the scene. he didn't know what had happened, but it was obviously devolving into a mess. "You, young kits, what happened?" Lightfoot asked of the three brothers, determined to get both sides. There was a reasonable way to solve issues, and fighting clanmates, especially the youngest of them, was not it.

Kestrelstorm flicked his tail in anger. How dare the warrior come and interrupt him? "These three kits are attacking the other kits and being very disrespectful to both Finchpaw, Minkkit, and me. I have this handled, so if you would kindly allow me to discipline my kit as well as orphans who are attacking and injuring their clanmates, that'd be great." He said calmly, clearly stepping in front of Lightfoot. "I don't poke my nose in your business."

Sitting at the edge of camp, Cedarfur watched it all. What seemed like a simple game turned out to become a viscous battle. Of course, his son had to step in and make a mess of things. Giving a yawn, he padded over to the cats. "Kestrelstorm, that's no way to treat an experience warrior." The taller tom growled. Looking down to the kits, he kept silent, waiting for someone to reply.

The white tabby joined the rapidly forming crowd in the clearing, Saltpelt was back from a patrol when she saw the pair surrounded by kits. "Woah, Woah. No need to be so testy." She was addressing both Cedarfur and Kestrelstorm. Usually she would have stayed out of it, but it seemed her apprentice, Finchpaw, was involved. Thus, she came over, her ears prick with curiosity and her blue eyes looking around at the scene before her, trying to make sense of it. Was there a fight? "Finchpaw, what happened?"

"What is going on here?" Emberleaf emerged from his den to find a few kits, an apprentice, and two warriors causing a commotion in the middle of camp. His gray orbs landed on Lightfoot, and the tom moved to stand beside him. "Kestrelstorm, it doesn't appear to me that you have this handled. Nobody's nose is being shoved into anybody's business, so everyone just chill out please. Did anyone ever stop to make sure none of the kits were hurt?"

Breezeheart had followed her sister over to the growing crowd, wondering what was going on, it was clear from something that most of the aggression was going towards Kestrelstorm. Her blue gaze turned towards the kits, and then up to the warrior. She couldn't help but wonder what had happened. "What is going on?" The black warrior asked.

Minkkit got overwhelmed by everyone, but that didn't stop her from being bright and happy. "No, Finchpaw! I bumped into them and Tigerkit yelled at me! So, I put him in his place and Darkkit and Pantherkit started beating me up, but Falconkit helped defend me!" She exclaimed, setting the true situation down.
