Mistkit lurked in a shady corner of camp, were she was mostly shielded from view. It was chilly were she sat, the snow and lack of sunlight creating an absence of warmth. Mistkit didn't mind though, her pelt was fluffy enough. She was simply laying there, sick of all the cats and commotion being in the center of camp brought. Why couldn't she be left alone for a little while? Despite this, Mistkit suddenly felt lonely. What she needed wasn't solitude, but rather a friend who understood and thought like her. Overly cheery cats made Mistkit uncomfortable, what was there to be so happy about all the time? She sighed, mildly bored.

Troutstep shook his fur as he padded into the camp. Today's catch had been someone easy since the ice was melting away from the warmer weather. Recently, he had been fairly happy about his mate and the kits but now that he thought harder about being a father, he was scared that he wouldn't be a great role model for the kits. I've never liked kits anyway. He thought to himself although he knew these kits were his kin. Troutstep gave a sigh, dropping his prey on the fresh kill pile. He was going to head to the warrior's den when he caught sight of his daughter. She looks pretty glum. He padded over to her and sat down on the opposite side of her, ignoring the apprentice. "You look a bit down today." He tried to sound like he cared, but being someone like him, showing his emotions towards a kit was pretty difficult.

Is he ignoring me? she thought I guess I'm close with him though she was looking at Troutstep for a long moment her tail flicking the snow, her fur was filled with snow from all the snow that was falling

Webpaw looked to the kit curiosity in his eyes, he padded towards Mistkit and dipped his head in greeting. "Hello there, I haven't seen you around as of late." He sat down next to her his short fur was thick and gave him some protection from the cold, albeit not much.

Eaglepaw calmed down as she saw Webpaw walk into the conversation, she hunched her self and looked down at the snow "Hey Webpaw"
