Solitude [open]

The sliver of a moon hung high in the sky as a multi colored cat left RiverClan camp. Nobody seemed to want him there. He had no friends, his parents could barely communicate with him and he barely even talked with his sister. He liked being alone, nobody could make fun of him. Eventually he reached FourTrees and sat down next to the Highrock, where the deputies usually sit at gatherings. He looked at the stars and wondered if any of them were his kin in StarClan. They'd probably be too ashamed to show themselves in the sky... he thought to himself. His thoughts were interrupted by a rustling in the bushes behind him. "Hello?" he asked, trying not to sound too intimidated.

Shimmerpaw was walking through the woods. It was a dark night, only a moon and stars guiding her way. She had no idea were she was going. All that she knew was that she had to get out of Riverclan camp. There was so much going on! There was training, hunting, swimming, and of course her secret relationship with Shallowpaw. Oh...Shallowpaw. How she loved him so much. She had wanted to wake him up to bring him along before she left, but Shimmerpaw decided that it would've been to much noise, and other cats would wake up. As she slowly padded farther away from camp, a smell tickled her nose. It still smelled like Riverclan, but which cat? Soon, she hear a "hello". The apprentice hid in the bushes to make sure it wasn't an enemy cat, then she slowly padded out. "Hello," she said as she sat down beside him. "What are you doing here?"

The white, amber and black pelt of Breezefeather lingered in the shadows, her emerald eyes glowing. "Hello." She greeted as she emerged from the brush and out into the open clearing.

"Huh? What are all you doing here?" Raggedypaw hissed, then turned around to Shimmerpaw and said, "Did you follow me here, er... Shinypaw was it?"

"It's Shimmerpaw...and no. I wanted to get away from camp for a while and gather my thoughts. I just followed where my feet took me and well...they took me here. And um what's your name again?" She asked. Then she turned to the other cat. "What about you?" She asked Breezefeather.

Nobody noticed the sleeping she-cat apprentice on the great rock. She slowly opened her eyes and peered over to the clearing. She would get in trouble if they noticed her. She accidentally hit a small pebble and it went rolling down the rock.

"I needed to clear my head and get over the battle. I hate going hunting because all I see is blood from other cats an torn out fur or claws." Breezefeather shook her small head and lowered her bright green eyes. "I hope nothing like that happens again."

The small pebble which had been dis lodged from the great rock caught Breezefeather's attention. "Who's there?"

"Raggedypaw," The calico tom said. Then, hearing the pebble travel down the highrock, he twitched his ear and turned around.

"No one." She mewed loudly, maybe it'll distract them.

"What?" Shimmerpaw asked. "It's obvious your there, you just spoke!" Shimmerpaw started to jump up the rock. "I'll come up there and get you down!"

"I'm a ghost... Oh whatever." She jumped down from the rock. "Hi bro."

Raggedypaw narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" he said, his voice starting to sound annoyed.

Once Shimmerpaw reached the top of the rock, the other cat jumped down. "Seriously? I just got up here!" She sat down angrily.

"Uhhh Icepaw. We're related." She mewed.
