| Larkkit was excited, the bristling of her fur as she stepped from the nursery gave that way in a heartbeat. Not that she would say it out loud. Her tail swished in a posh manner, doing her best to look like she didn't have a care in the world as she tried to keep her bristling fur laying down the best she could. She came to a halt not all that far from the Jaggedrock, her amber eyes flickering up to Thrushstar as she sat down. She wondered who her mentor would be - hopefully a skilled warrior. | "Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar said. "Larkkit, from now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Larkpaw. Your mentor will be Fennelcloud. May she teach you everything that she knows."
Fennelcloud's head popped up as she heard her name be called. Standing up, feeling pretty good about this, she padded over to her new apprentice and touched noses with her. "I can't wait to get training started!" |
