December Gathering 2015

Halfpaw followed the rest of RiverClan into her first ever Gathering. Ignoring the stares at her deformity, she slunk awkwardly into the back of the group of cats, hoping no one would come to gawk at her. She didn't see Fallenblaze or Whitefoot anywhere, or her mentor Salmonstripe, so she just sat alone. She purposefully left her good side facing the other Clan.

OOC: If any mean cat wants to come make fun of Halfpaw that's fine. If any nice cat wants to befriend her that is also fine. I just want to interact with people.

Troutstep walked in with his clan. I wonder where Patchpaw is... The tom glanced around. Usually, he sat alone not caring to talk to any cat. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted his niece Halfpaw sitting alone. Troutstep gave a sigh and trotted over to her, sitting down. "I wonder what the leaders will announce tonight." He said plainly, looking up at the leader's rock.

Ooc- Please tell me why there are so many "salty" names... nvm, some peeps answered my question. *nods head (tsk tsk) such shame that WCC has been draged into the world of meaningless drama*

IC:Cloverpool purred at Frozenflame and her heart fluttered, she hoped that he could hear it. "Cucumberpaw why don't you go make some friends?" She smiled not wanting her sister to be shy.

Cucumberpaw nodded and padded over to another apprentice and a  warrior (Halfpaw and Troutstep) and sat down and smiled shyly. "H-helllo.. I'm Cucumberpaw.. what's your name..?" The cream she cat meowed her pale blue eyes flickering between the two cats who smelled of fish..? She didn't know this was her first ever gathering, even though she was the age of a warrior when she arrived back at Thunderclan with her sister Cloverpool.

Frozenflame looked over at Cloverpool as she sat down next to him with her sister. At the sound of her purr, he grinned, and when she suggested that Cucumberpaw should go make friends, his grin turned into a teasing smile. "Ah, trying to steal some alone time with me, I see?" he joked as he bumped his shoulder against her's. She was so beautiful, and her smiles seemed to light up the whole world. He wanted to make one flash across her face. "I'm just too darn handsome, is that what it is?"

Cloverpool cracked a smile, then rolled her eyes playfully. "Of course I do. Why else would I want my sister to leave? Your way past handsome Frozenflame." She purred and rubbed her cheek against his affectionately. She flicked his ear with her tail teasingly and her eyes lit up like a kits, which a hint of amusement in her eyes, but mostly affection and playfulness. If her kits saw this they would probably pretend to gag but she didn't care if anyone saw, she was in love with Frozenflame, she just didn't know it yet.

Wisteriapaw turned her head again, hearing her father with her younger sister. Standing up, she made her way to her family. "Don't be rude, Fogpaw." She chided again after her father. "A proper cat has manners." She sat behind her younger sister, not much larger than the warrior apprentice.

With RiverClan headed to the gathering, Breezestar saw no reason he shouldn't head out with his clan behind him as well. Whether WindClan and ThunderClan liked it or not, they were still a part of the forest, and they would gather to meet their enemies under StarClan's watchful eyes. If nothing else, they had to keep their pride.

And so the gray and white tabby led them in, his head held hide as he guided the SkyClan cats to the center of the clearing, many of them new apprentices, and walked up to the Great Rock, heading to the top with a single, graceful leap. He took his seat and said nothing.

Mapledrop padded in after her leader. She took a spot next to her "Niece and Nephew" Rosepaw and Fallenpaw. She looked around hoping to see a familiar pelt from other clans. She looked around and spotted.. Her mother Cloverpool. Wait Cloverpool? Huh? Mapledrop thought that her mother was gone, taken by Twolegs. She must have escaped, well good for her. The dark red she cat smoothed a couple of her darker red stripes, but made no move to go over to her mother.

Cloverpool smiled and flicked Frozenflame with her tail playfully.

Cucumberpaw looked uneasily at the two Riverclan cats(Halfpaw and Troutstep) when they didn't respond. She flicked her tail nervously and glanced at the ground shyly.

Troutsteps gave a sigh as an apprentice came towards them. Guess I have to be social. "I'm Troutstep. Is this your first gathering?" He said softly. The tom could tell the small cat was nervous.

"Y-yes it is. I'm sorry I'm really shy, because I've never known anyone but my sister. But I'm Cucumberpaw. Nice to meet you." The 27 moon old she cat meowed giving the Tom a shy smile. She was far from being a small cat, her parents had left Thunderclan and left her sister behind with them. Cucumberpaw had always wanted to join them and when her sister was taken by the Twolegs was the best two years of her life, she had gotten to kno her family and then live with them. Now she was training to become a warrior, just like Cloverpool. "Whats your name?" She meowed breaking the ice a little.

Cloverpool glanced back at her sister and smiled when she saw her talking to another cat.

Mapledrop noticed her mother's gaze travel from Frozenflame to Cucumberpaw. She studied the cream she cat wondering who she could be to her mother. She certainly hasn't seen the pale blue eyed she cat before. Maybe she was a rouge? And Cloverpool was her mentor? Hmm.. Maybe, but Cloverpool didn't look at the she cat like an apprentice, more like she was her daughter.. or other family..

Rosepaw stayed quiet as she followed her "aunt" Mapledrop into the Gathering. This was her first time at a Gathering and she was kinda nervous.

Fallenpaw followed after his light ginger twin. His green gaze traveled to a Thunderclan warrior that Mapledrop looked at. He was puzzled but when his t in sat down quietly he gave her a strange look. "Rosepaw, why are you so quiet? Isn't this amazing! Our first gathering."

A diluted Gray and black calico padded into and sat next to her half brother. "Hey Troutstep? Pearlkit was really disappointed when you left her. Do you thinks bad? I mean she hasn't been made an Apprentice for an extra four moons, and I'm getting worried about her. I just don't want anything to happen to her. I mean since Slushfang.." She trailed off whispering to her brother, with a worried look on her face.

Robinflight followed after her littermates instead of Nightfire this gathering. She was curious who it was that Echostrike had softened up for, but she didn't bother asking. There hadn't been an official announcement or anything, and she knew that sometimes her sister was secretive. Much like her mother. She wondered what it was that had come between her mother and the former deputy, but that was obviously a private matter and in any case Spottedstar was not in the position to talk about such things in front of two rival Clans who seemed to be looking for metaphorical blood. She nudged Oliveheart's side with her small pink nose and smiled faintly, hoping to draw some comfort from him until the other, less hostile Clans arrived. Falconstar would certainly keep RiverClan in their place. He always did.

Blackpaw purred in delight as Firepaw came over. "Hey," He mewed, eyes flickering around to see if anyone was planning on dropping into the conversation. "How's Riverclan?" He asked quietly, gaze full of curiosity.

Heronpaw and Patchpaw, perhaps the most lively spirits at the gathering, were bickering about whether or not Thunderclan was as bad as it seemed. "They're probably fine! They seem nice- they haven't bickered with me much except for... Well, you remember Stonepaw." Patchpaw glared "Let's not bring uh... her into this conundrum o' a topic. They're mean an' rude an' smell foul. You remember the big battle!" He chided, tongue clicking in disgust to her words.

Meanwhile, Fallenblaze stared blankly and made his way over to Troutstep and Halfpaw. "Hey you two. What'cha talkin' about?" He asked, twitching his whiskers. The tom had grown very bold in the past few moons, turning his personality from a shy, quiet one to a loud, bold and outgoing one. It was probably hard on his kin- such a change wasn't easy to cope with. After all, his kin had been suffering while he flaunted his talents and made more friendships.

Snowstorm followed Breezestar into the clearing. The new warrior looked around at the cats from the other 4 clans. She felt really good to be a warrior.

Troutstep looked over to his sister who asked him a question. "I think she'll be fine. Though it is weird and unfair that she hasn't gotten her apprentice name yet." The tom said, wondering Fishstar's reason. Did the leader not trust the kit? Troutstep's eyes floated over to Fallenblaze who had also come over to talk to them. "Nothing of your buisness." The grumpy tom said coldly, his ears pinned against his head. Troutstep knew Fallenblaze was technically part of his kin, but he still hadn't forgiven the tom for how he acted towards Rushreed.
