A Bone to Pick [BATTLE TOPIC]

Monsoon hissed when Eagle was attacked. She stepped forward, standing up next to him and barring her fangs at the Windclan cats, but keeping her gaze off of the Windclan leader. "Eagle, are you alright? Let me attack, just give me the command and I'll tear them to shreds!" The former Thunderclan she-cat crouched down and got ready to pounce on a Windclan warrior near-by. "We don't need to retreat, Scorch! If you're a loyal cat to Bloodclan, then you should fight for our territory, not flee like a kitty-pet!" She purposely ignored the Thunderclan cats, fearing that she would lock eyes with her father.

Frozenflame huddled near the back of the Thunderclan group, afraid to fight his daughter. When the command came from Falconstar to fight, he almost did, but stopped when Spottedstar said otherwise. She told them to chase the rouges off, and nobody else seemed to be moving, so he jumped into action. The rouge he attacked was one that interested the grey and ginger tom; his name was Scorch, apparently, and he somehow knew the name of the two leaders. Frozenflame charged at him and rammed into Scorch's side at full force, knowing that he would easily be able to knock Scorch to the ground.

Emberleaf sat with watchful eyes at the back of the two clans, staring as Falconstar attacked the rouge leader and as Frozenflame attacked a rouge.

Falconstar narrowed his eyes at Spottedstar, but refused to start a fight with another clan when their attention was needed elsewhere. "We didn't have time to waste on segmented control," he hissed lowly, lashing his tail in annoyance. "Do not lose sight of what we came here for." But he let it go after that, stepping over towards the center of the battle. Really though, he was moving to a position so that he could keep Eaglethorn from trying to kill every rogue in the area. "Then I guess this will be enough." For a group of rogues having banded together, this was quite pathetic. There was no need to antagonize them further, however. He had made his point.

"Leave, then. As long as you now leave peacefully, no further harm will come." He swept his eyes across the group. "But any more rogues found on WindClan territory will not be so lucky."

Ivorypaws ear gave a twitch, the rouges had wanted to leave the territory peacefully. It was a slight dissapointment, the newer apprentice had expected a battle she was actually looking forward to rip her claws into the outsiders pelts and make them drip with blood. After all these were the cats that had killed apprentices... she couldn't forgive them for what they have done how could Falconstar let them walk away with not a scratch on them? The white apprentice had scoffed glancing away from the rouges she didn't pity them the rouges had disgusted her. "Our clan mates deaths would be in vain if we let them walk away without a scratch!!"

Lightfoot, somewhat relieved, cast a glance at Ivorypaw. "We got the message across. That's all that was necessary. There's no need to give them any scratches unless they don't heed our warnings; and from the looks of it, they will. Let's not be too bloodthirsty, now." He gently reproached. He didn't want his young kit to be raised in such a violent manner. For a moment, he was reminded of Eaglethorn and wondered how Daisypaw was doing as his apprentice. Watching the two Clans mumble and mill about in the aftermath, he wondered why such a large force was even necessary. Couldn't just a select few of WindClan's finest have been sufficient for an intimidation mission? Wouldn't this mean that WindClan owed a debt for hauling ThunderClan forces to the other side of the forest? Spottedstar looked angry enough at Falconstar already. Perhaps the two Clans had become too comfortable with each other. The tall white tom glanced uneasily around at the ThunderClan cats. Just how long had they been allies?

Scorch almost yelped in surprise when claws dug into his skin, quickly followed by a Thunderclan cat. It was much more painful being attacked without a barrier of fur. The tom lashed out in defense, and, not knowing where he had struck, scrambled away with blood dripping down his skin. His heart was beating so fast; he could feel the throb of each beat in his chest. It was too fast. He heaved in a breath.

"An eye for an eye, okay?" came his breathy voice. If he was looking at this from another cat's point of view, he'd see a warrior attacking a vulnerable elder. He did not view himself this way. In some part of his mind he was still a young, fit, Skyclan warrior. It was frustrating to know he couldn't do the things he could then, but now, literally blindsided, it stung more than his wounds. "You are not proving anything by attacking me. No pride in harming the elderly, son." Well, that sounded more taunting than anything else. Not what he had intended, but he would just roll with it.
