Yellowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Falconstar made his way to the top of the Tallrock and called out, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

OoC: Any mentor preference?

Yellowkit strutted out of her den, well the nursery. The whole place was filled with kittens, and they all squealed at her to play moss ball. It was rather disgusting in her opinion. She couldn't imagine cooing over everything in life, even though she clearly remembered jumping into the Warriors den thinking it was the leader den. But those days were done, and now a new day had begun. And clearly it was one that involved a ceremony. Yellowkit looked up at Falconstar calmly, not even the slightest bit of excitement showing.

With Yellowkit padding calmly into the clearing, Falconstar continued. "Yellowkit, you have reached the age where you are ready to become an apprentice. Until you become a warrior, you will be known as Yellowpaw. Dawnstrike will be your mentor."

Yellowkit stared at Falconstar, momentarily stunned. Then she cleared her throat to stay concentrated, before stepped forward to receive her apprentice name. "Oh wow. I am an apprentice!" for one of the few times in her rather sarcastic kit-hood, she was really excited. Yellowpaw smiled and looked around for her mentor, Dawnstrike.
