| The orange tabby purred as Sunpelt's daughter hurried after them. "Hello, Minnowkit!" he purred.
Then he thought about Goldenkit's question for a moment, slowing his trot. "Would you like to hear the story of the fire that spread through the camp all those moons ago?" Flamestripe asked thoughtfully. He had noticed how Rookkit had looked sort of sad, so he walked over to his daughter and murmured in her ear, "If you don't feel like listening to the story, why don't you go ahead about five fox-lengths to keep a lookout for trouble?"
