| Soaringwing bravely stood his place as it grew darker, until the moon was clearly in the sky and crickets chirped all around. The stars shined brightly in the night sky and to help keep himself awake, Soaringwing looked up and tried to find every dead cat he knew up there as a star. He gave out a sigh of relief as he looked back at his family and realized they were safe...and that's all he wanted.
Raccoonkit nipped at her brother for taking the best spot and pulled on his ear, teaching him a lesson about messing with her, but then settled down in a nice spot under Coalspirit's tail and slowly fell asleep.
