The Gorge Shimmers at Moon-high (death topic for those who signed up)

"I'm Icestorm." he huffed. He went the longer way to the ThunderPath, making sure not to run into any WC warriors. He didn't want to explain anything right now.

It wasn't long before Thrushstar saw the shadows of the cats that were padding towards him from Windclan territory. He was just on a simple border patrol when he saw the other patrol out of the corner of his eye. Narrowing his eyes, he stopped when he saw Shimmerkit was with that same Windclan warrior from last time with Shadepaw. What was going on? To say the least, Thrushstar was very confused.

Icestorm caught the scent of ShadowClan cats from across the ThunderPath. He soon saw Thrushstar and wondered when to cross the path.

Leopardfang halted next to Thrushstar, having been on the patrol with him. He was too glorious to deny the chance to patrol with. He caught the scent of Shimmerkit and WindClan before seeing them, turning and staring at the odd scene. "Isn't that... the WindClan tom from before?" He asked Thrushstar the Almighty quietly. Slight suspicion crept into his voice, but he could see that the tom was not harming Shimmerkit.... at the moment.

"Yes... It is," Thrushstar replied with just as much suspicion in his voice. It was odd that two things happen to Shadowclan cats and this warrior happens to be there. However, Thrushstar could not judge so quickly. "Greetings, Windclan warrior," Thrushstar called over to Icestorm. "May I ask how you came about helping Shimmerkit?"

"Well, yes. May I come over so I don't attract more of my clanmates?" Icestorm yelled before I monster came zooming by. He didn't want to yell, and hoped Thrushstar would allow him to cross.

The Shadowclan leader nodded, watching the warrior carefully.

Leopardfang would be raising an eyebrow if he had one. He'd better not drop Shimmerkit on the path while he runs over. He thought. If he had to, he'd race across the Thunderpath to get his clanmate. Hopefully, though, it wouldn't be needed. He stood still, his tail flicking in anticipation, and waited for the warrior to attempt crossing.

Icestorm waited for the next monster to race by and then crossed. He couldn't run full speed or he would drop the cat on his back so he walked as fast as he could, breathing hard on the other side.

Stumppaw growled and ran over. "What do you want?" He snarled, but was interrupted as the warrior walked past him. The large, three-legged muscular Tom stood near Thrushstar, though covered in anger, was terrified for Shimmerkit who was with him.

Icestorm gently placed the kit on the ground and sat down, his back aching from carrying her.

Shimmerkit tried and failed to sit up. She just lay there, feeling stupid. "It's my fault," she muttered. "I fell into the gorge. I shouldn't be alive. But... a StarClan warrior visited me. Her name was Gingerheart. She told me... I should become a warrior."

Icestorm just sat there, looking down at the kit.
