"Dawnfire! I'm going hunting I'll be back soon! Look after Amberkit and Poppykit for me will ya?" Goldenflame meowed and padded out of camp. He ran along the moors until he saw a rabbit a little ways off. He stopped and stalked the rabbit. Before it could pounce a mouse came rushing through the grass and scared the rabbit and the tom took after it. Not realizing how close he had gotten to the gorge he leaped onto the rabbit and killed it before the ground gave way under him and he plummeted into the gorge to his death.
