Flamestripe, though agonized, let out a purr. "Thank you, brother," he whispered. "I'll be there for you, too." All his sadness for his family, the family that had rejected him so long ago, disappeared. At least someone from his family loved him again. The orange tabby didn't know what Blazingheart thought of him, but he knew that he himself would always love his father.

He sighed, sleep enfolding him, but Flamestripe forced himself not to sleep. His father needed his last silent gestures of support.

Summitpaw ran out of the apprentices den followed by Cloverpaw. He ran over to where his sister and his 'mate' were comforting Silkpaw. "Whats happened?" Then he saw Blazinghearts body. "Oh." Was all he said and pressed himself against Fawnpaw and gave Silkepaw and Meadowpaw a lick between the ears.

Cloverpaw froze at the sign of Blazinghearts body. She and Blazinghearts had fought off a fox one time together and ended killing it. Now seeing his body she felt sorrow for losing such a good cat and an admired warrior. She went over to Sunpelt and buried her muzzel into his shoulder crying.

Meadowpaw felt comforted by the touch of her brother and stood shakily to her paws. She went over to Summitpaw and pressed against him, shaking violently. "Summitpaw, I'm scared," she whispered.

Sunpelt sighed sadly, and slowly rasped his tongue over his mate's ear. "It's okay, Cloverpaw. Blazingheart died as a brave warrior. He did not lose anything but his life on earth."

He rested his muzzled on Cloverpaw's head, and briefly closed his eyes.

Summitpaw put his head on his sisters. "Its gonna be ok Meadowpaw Blazingheart may be dead by now he's in a better place and he's not suffering pain anymore so nothing can hurt him now. All we have to do is pray Starclan treats him well as well as his clan did maybe even better. Blazingheart will watch over everyone in the clan so don't be worried sister." He meowed trying to comfort his sister.

Cloverpaw nodded. "Your right. And he will be missed." She meowed the hole in her heart got bigger with each death of every cat in Thunderclan.

Meadowpaw, though slightly comforted, felt tears slide slowly and ungracefully down her cheeks. She leaned into Summitpaw, suddenly frightened when she realized he had as much chance as any other cat that he would die too. I'll never leave your side, the cream apprentice promised her brother silently.

"Yes, he will be missed," Sunpelt agreed solemnly, staring sadly at Blazingheart's body. "Terribly missed." The yellow tabby took in a deep, shuddering breath, and then lay down, tail curled around his paws, ready to sit vigil.
