Oh feck, Fire. [OPEN TO TC CATS]

"...Dad?" The red-brown tom gasped out confused, the smoke was playing with his vision and he couldn't tell if what he was seeing was just a hallucination or real. He tried to get up from where he laid, but couldn't find the strength. Each one of his breaths were getting shallower and shallower as smoke filled his lungs more than air.

"Enough, Stormpaw. Leave now. Hawkstrike, stop panicking and take your brother." Duskfall nudged the apprentice towards the exit, he had no time to be dealing with headstrong kits. He had to evacuate camp before anyone else died.

Hawkstrike wanted to stay behind, but trusted that her mate, Frozenflame, would do everything in his power to find their missing kit. She gently lifted up her brother, Soaringpaw, onto her back with help from a nearby apprentice, Frostpaw, and left camp.

Shrikepaw wanted to stay behind and look for her brother, but a growl from her mother kept her in line. She left with the rest of the apprentice, praying to Starclan her brother would make it.

As the rest of the clan flooded out of the camp, Foxfang nodded stiffly to Duskfall and began scouring the dens for any signs of life. The heat was enough to make his many scars appear a blazing red, like he was on fire himself. The smoke was becoming so thick now that it was useless to try and stay low. The leader’s den he knew was clear, but the warrior’s den, some obviously deaf cat might still be asleep. He stuck his head in to check, no one was there.

CRASH. A large branch fell through the roof and set every nest inside ablaze. Stumbling out backwards, a low, slow creak caught his attention. Now was the only time he had feared for his life. The sound came from one of the huge oaks surrounding them, a torch as it gradually started to fall. In their direction. In the most obviously fake calm voice he could muster, Foxfang stated, “We should get moving.”

Lightningpaw ran to get sand.

"I'll take a last sweep of the camp in case anything was missed, Duskfall and Foxfang you both can go, I want to make sure my apprentices are gone and I want to be 100% sure." She meowed strictly before heaving herself back towards the apprentices den to look. Finding it satisfactory the she-cat decided to make another repeated check of the nursery.

Coalpaw noticed Stormpaw try to pick up Soaringpaw and she had back any words that would escape her. The medicine cat apprentice though looked worried at Soaringpaw taking not he was uncouncious but her mentor needed her to focus and leave getting everyone out to the warriors. She went over to her mentor,Nightfire, quickly.

Softsong blinked then nodded some. When she had tried to help her adopted son get from the branch some of the flames had drifted off and managed to catch a hold of her fur sear and burning at her pelt then finally the raw skin of her legs which would up being bad by the time she managed to get the fire out on her fur. She then looked to the others and followed after the others who would be leading the apprentices ad a few warriors out of camp.

Goldenpaw was fully alarmed. She bounded out of camp, closing her eyes tightly to not see any of her siblings in pain.

"Father, I'm not leaving without my son! Firepaw, I'll save you!" Frozenflame knew that it was already probably too late. The tom backed up and rammed into the flaming branch again and again, but it wouldn't budge. Instead, Frozenflame made a small space under it and he crawled into the nursery, coughing as smoke filled his lungs. "Son," he gasped, seeing his body on the ground. "Don't die on me! I'll get you out of here!" Frozenflame coughed as he picked up Firepaw and rammed into the branch, trying to make it crack like he had been doing earlier. It finally did, and Frozenflame got out with burns and his son...was Firepaw dead?

Blazingheart helped carry Firepaw to the entrance of camp before stopping and looking around one last time. He had fought with everything he had against the fire. It was way out of their control now. It was time to leave, but Blazingheart wouldn't go without his leader. Despite his thoughts, Blazingheart helped kick sand and dirt onto the huge flames.

Stormpaw hissed at her mother as she helped with Soaringpaw "I can carry him myself! Go away!" She cared about Soaringpaw more then anything besides the clan and even though the tabby was warrior sized, Stormpaw could find the strength to carry him by herself. She quietly hissed at Duskfall also, but didn't let him hear it. She would be as good as dead if she made him angrier and more stressed.

The apprentice tried to speak, but his lungs were filled with acrid, hot smoke. When his father came into his sight, he tried to tell the tom to leave. To save himself, but couldn't. Instead, he let out a few weak gasps, before passing out from oxygen deprivation. His lungs kept going, but he was already one foot in with Starclan.

"Enough! Stormpaw, Soaringpaw needs to get away from here. We don't have time for this!" The queen's voice took a slightly frantic edge as she nudged her kit towards the camp entrance. While she admire the she-cat's desire to help her clanmates, she wouldn't risk her kit dying from smoke inhalations. Not knowing where Firepaw is, was stressful enough. She wouldn't risk another one of her kits. "I won't risk you too. I won't. Please don't do this now, my sweet."

"Blazingheart, go ahead, and get Stormpaw to leave. This camp is no place for any apprentices. I'll get Spottedstar and the rest to leave." Duskfall could see the limp body of their grandson, Firepaw with Blazingheart, but chose to dismiss it for now. He couldn't have grief cloud his judgement, there was work to be done. "Specklefur! Is everyone out now?"

Lionpaw, spotting Daisypaw being helped out of fallen flaming branches rushed towards her and started leading her out of camp, pressing his shoulder to hers and giving her a quick lick on the head. "Come on, everything will be fine..."

When Goldenpaw yelled at him Ghostpaw shook himself fully awake and bolted after her as he ran out of camp, picking up a kit on his way as he heard Duskfall order the apprentices to the river.

"Yes! Lets all get going before we burn to death!" She yowled as she trotted back, her heart pounding and her legs quivering with effort. "No cat will last much longer." She warned as she shoved her way through the camp entrance, deliberately shoving her way through the parts that were still in tact with no holes, she wasn't taking a chance with coming in tact with that fire. As soon as she made it through the camp wall and onto the other side she felt herself nearly go down, she was a lot weaker right now than she imagined. Holding back another coughing fit she carefully chose her path, all the creaking of the trees unnerving her to the point where she wanted to break down and give into the fires hungry flames but for the sake of her clan kept moving, it wasn't until she gotten to the sunningrocks that she slumped to the ground and started coughing.

Coalpaw blinked looking to her mentor before she followed the others quickly.

Quickly turning to follow the other warriors out of camp, his state wasn’t much better. His eyes- they were stinging and watering so much. Unable to stop it, he trudged on. Ragged breath often interrupted by shaking coughs was barely enough to keep up with his fellow warriors. As soon as they reached Sunningrocks, he laid sideways on the cool rocks.

Sunpaw heaved a sigh of relief as the branch was rolled off of Soaringpaw. Sunpaw dashed out of camp toward Sunningrocks, satisfied that he had helped enough. When he was about half-way to Sunningrocks, a burning tree fell down right in front of him. Sunpaw's breath caught in his throat when he realized that tree had been a heartbeat away from crashing right on top of him, easily crushing and killing him. He held back a squeak of fright. You're not a kit, he scolded himself, though panic was welling up inside him.

He thought of going around the large, burning tree, but there were other flaming trees falling down all around him, and there would be no easy path to follow without having his fur scorched off and his lungs choked so that he wouldn't be able to be a warrior. He yowled as loud as he possibly could, "Help! Someone! Help, please! I'm caught between burning trees. Help!!!!" Sunpaw hoped his voice would carry all the way to Sunningrocks, but he realized it was highly doubtful. But maybe there was a cat nearby him, someone who would be able to hear him. Though he knew that was almost impossible, hope welled in his chest, and he let out another desperate screech, "HELP!"

Tail tucked between his legs in fright, Sunpaw looked behind him, where dozens of forest trees were crashing around him. Smoke filled his lungs, and he dodged a burst of fire specks that flew from an on-fire tree ahead. Every time a tree fell with a banging crash, Sunpaw flinched. He was shaking violently. He looked in the direction of camp - or what was left of the camp. Would ThunderClan ever live in their home again? He whimpered, and crouched low to the ground, waiting for hot flames to crawl over to him and burn him to his death. Eyes stinging, he closed them, and forced the fire and crashing trees around him to melt away into space, clearing his mind of threatening noises in the forest. Slowly, he lay down on the ground and drifted to unconsciousness.

OOC: He's not going to die, but he's going to get hurt. But he'll still be able to be a warrior apprentice and then warrior, he'll just have to take some time off of training.

OOC: AAH! I only now saw this... heh heh heh.

Turtlepaw looked around in panic. She had only just come back from the dirtplace tunnel to see everything on fire! She heard somebody yowling and rushed towards the sound. She saw Sunpaw trapped by the fire. "Sunpaw!" she screeched. "Hang on!" Not knowing what she could do, panic enveloping all reasonable thought, she leaped into the circle of fire, trying to shake the tom awake. "Sunpaw..." she whimpered. "Get up!" The fire wouldn't stay where it was for much longer. Hopefully a warrior would hear their yowls. She realized too late that jumping into the fire was a mouse-brained thing to do.

//Ok, let's say, Rainkit stood up already a few minutes ago...^^

Quickly Rainkit opened her eyes. Where am I? It took a few heartbeats until she realized, that she had fell out of her nest while she had been sleeping. There were strange sounds from outside of the den and it was incredibly hot and smelled strong like something Rainkit didn't know. Immediately she ran out of the den and saw the fire. She didn't know what was going on, but she knew it was dangerous. As fast as possible she tried to run outside of the camp, but the fire was already too high. Rainkit yelled, when she stepped into embers. She jumped to a halfway safe place and started to mew as loud as she could. "Hello? Can anyone hear me? Please, help me!" She knew, her voice wasn't loud enough. She didn't know how, but she managed somehow to get out of the camp. Where are the others? I can't see or smell anyone! Desperately she started to meow again.
