Another New Thunderclan Deputy

The newly recovered Spottedstar jumped atop the Highrock, shifting slightly on her paws, still feeling the afteraffects of the sickness. She shook it off and continued. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" she yowled loud enough for everyone in camp to hear.

Littlefang ran over, wondering what it was about. Flameclaw seemed to have disappeared again, as he remembered seeing her come back when he was very, very small. "Deputy ceremony." He thought out loud.

Blazingheart knew this was coming. He padded out of the warrior's den and sat down in the gathering group of cats. Duskfall had already been announced deputy; he had been the one to represent Thunderclan at the gathering. And plus, it was obvious that the leader was going to pick him. Duskfall acted like a leader already. With Duskfall to be the new deputy, Blazingheart ralized that there needed to be a new "taking-in-charge" warrior to take Duskfall's former place. That was what Blazingheart decided he should be from now on. He was going to be on top of knowing everything that needed to be done and doing it. 

Frozenflame followed behind his father and sat down next to him, gazing up at the leader. He, like Blazingheart, already knew what was going on. Duskfall deserved the position, as much as he earned it. He would make a great leader one day.

Soaringpaw padded into camp with a squirrel in his mouth. He dropped it in the fresh-kill pile, realizing he was just in time for a ceremony. He sat down by Frozenflame and waited for his adopted pop to become the deputy.

Blazestorm quickly walked out of his den. He knew what this was. A deputy ceremony. He has dreamed about becoming deputy since he was a kit. He walked closer to the rock, then sat down. He waited patiently for his leader to speak.

Softsong padded from the nursery silently as she went to take a seat quietly joining Frozenflame,Soaringpaw,and Blazingheart quietly already knowing what was going to happen.

Coalpaw padded from the Medicine cats den and sat beside Soaringpaw quietly to watch the ceremony.

OOC: Oops, I missed this? Lets pretend it's the past and everyone is alive and happy.

Duskfall came out of the warrior's den with a solemn look, walking over to High Rock next to his mate, Softsong(ooc: y my love). He looked up at his leader, Spottedstar, a heavy heart from the knowledge that this meeting was due to Flameclaw's death. She had been his mentor, and it saddened him to think she was gone forever. But ThunderClan lived on, and so would he.

Sitting beneath the rock, he waited patiently for the meeting to start.

Hawkstrike came over to see what the ceremony was about, she was young enough not to realise what was going on.

Spottedstar looked at her clan gathering, and continued on. "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ThunderClan is Duskfall." she paused to look at her choice. "Congratulations."
