Warm Sunshine

Eaglewing sat just beside the warrior den, allowing the sun to touch his pelt. For the first time in moons, the handsome white warrior felt like something good was going to happen--but he didn't know why. His sigh was cutted short when he spotted someone close by.

A tabby she cat sat nearby she had her eyes closed briefly in thought before she opened them again. Owlfeather smiled andflicked her tail her grey eyes then gazed around camp.She didn't remember the last time the sun felt so warm. She could remember the snow and the cold but the sun felt good. She then noticed Eaglewing nearby and she flicked her tail quietly flicking her tail slightly in greeting.

Eaglewing had spotted a she cat as soon as she spotted him. When she greeted him, he politely dipped his head and approached her confidently. "Hello, my name is Eaglewing. You are Owlfeather, right?" The tom had recalled hearing about her, but never actually met the pretty tabby.

"Yes my names Owlfeather"She mewed smiling"its nice to meet you Eaglewing"Owlfeather mewed."its a nice day today huh? "

Eaglewing blinked at Owlfeather and gave her a warm smile. "Nice to meet you too, Owlfeather. Yes, it's a very nice day. The sunshine had brightened the day in my opinion. How about you?" The tom said in a charming yet friendly way.

Owlfeather smiled"it does "She mewed"so how are you?" She asked.

"I'm well. The days feel the same to me as they go by. The besides enjoying the sun, training my apprentice, Blazepaw, and serving my clan are the best things to do here. How are you?" Eaglewing asked and rested his handsome green eyes at Owlfeather. For the first time in days, he felt didn't feel so... quiet. Having decent conversations usually boosted his mood and made him feel a bit happier. He blinked at the tabby she cat and waited for her reply. The tom wondered if he could be friends with her.

"Same its been great. "She mewed smiling some."well ive been enjoying being a warrior .."Owlfeather mewed before asking"i dont know if youll find this weird but would you possibly like to be friends?"she asked.

"I don't find it weird at all. Of course we can be friends. It doesn't hurt to have friends, right?" Eaglewing answered in a warm tone. He felt a cool sensation down his spine and looked up in the air. Blinking, the tom looked at the pretty tabby she cat. "Do you want to go hunting with me?" He hoped that by hunting with Owlfeather, he could bond with her faster.

Owlfeather smiled"right"she mewed. She blinked her grey eyes when he asked if she'd like to go hunting with him. She nodded smiling"sure i'd love to"she mewed.

Eaglewing nodded his head at Owlfeather and rested him tail on her shoulders briefly. "Let's go," he said warmly. The tom stood there with the she cat until she went to the entrance. He was a little excited for hunting with a companion again, but he didn't show it much. Purring under his throat, he scanned the camp.

Owlfeather smile and stood on her paws padding to the camp entrance.
