At least he's warm (closed)

Padding through the thinly wooded territory with the sun slowly setting behind him, Sunflower made his way to nowhere in particular. A moon or so ago, a Twoleg cub had put what some-cats called the ‘sky' on his pelt and they hadn’t found a way to remove it just yet. It had taken some getting used to and Spottedstar had been keen on getting it of him as soon as possible, but it brought the lean tom warmth through such a cold season and he personally wished that he didn’t ever have to remove it, though he knew that wasn’t an option.

The tom wasn't one to patrol with others and while he’d been ordered to stay at camp with his unnatural pelt, he just had to get out of camp and knew that he’d be fine if he just stayed close enough to camp.

Not long after his journey through the base of the trees, the lengthy tom caught the scent of prey. Crouching down as far as his abnormally twig-like legs would let him go, he stalked forward and soon enough, spotted a squirrel nibbling on its breakfast.

Stalking forward, Sunflower waited a few moments, his haunches wiggling back and forth in calibration. Just a little longer... then it was all his, or so he hoped.

Pouncing, the tom's big paws landed squarely onto the squirrel's plump shoulders. With a swift bite to the neck before it could let out a squeal, he'd successfully caught a piece of prey. 'Not a bad way to start the morning,' he thought to himself, wishing every time he hunted he'd been this successful. Well, at least his clanmates would see he'd been successful when he returned back to camp.

Sunflower attempted to catch a Squirrel and was... successful. -5 SP

Wanting to get back to camp before he got in trouble, one way or another, Sunflower picked up his kill and made his way back home, praying that no-cat saw him out of camp with his "sky-pelt" on.
