Kitty Tips

Yah um I'm gonna get a kitten this Saturday and I need your help. I need some tips on how to care for them, how to train them, how to make sure they don't scratch your furniture, etc..... So um, any ideas?

tips:always give your cat love and food + water,It will pay more attention to you and NOT the couch.if that doesnt work,declaw the cat or put plastic covers over your furniture.if it does something bad say "NO!",my cat is very nice because of some of these.that,or shes to lazy to cause mass destruction in my house.

Yeah, well, at pet smart, There's this kitten named Ajay. My mom said we can have him if I do my work all week. When I stuck my finger into Ajay's cage, he jumped on it and started licking me! Then, whe this lady bent down to put down something beside Ajay's cage, Ajay stuck his paw out and he tried to get her! I want Ajay sooooooooooooo bad! He's sooooooooooo cute! He costs $120 though..... :shock: That's ALOT.....

my cat costed nothing because my grandma sent her to me!also,ask if you can get Ajay on hold!

get it spayed.they get fat calm and lazy afterwards :roll: unless ur trying to breed them.

I have 3 cats and a kitten about to be a cat

Odie-Black cat with Yellow eyes-7 years old-male
Jacob-gray and white cat with yellow eyes-6 years old-male
Sugar-brown (and other colors i can't describe) with yellow eyes-4 years old-Female
Julias-black and white with yellow eyes-2 years old-Male

My cat is crazy, but here are some important things.

Show Ajay the litter box first. It helps house-break them.
Like Featherpaw, get them spayed. My cat's still crazy sometimes...She's 6 years old.
Get a scratching box or something with catnip. They'll scratch it rather than the furniture.
Get a spray bottle and fill it with water. When they do something bad, say "No" and spray them.
(This goes for my cat; maybe for others) Don't wear Icy-Hot patches a lot. My cat attacks them like CRAZY!!!
Give them love, food, water, and comfortable sleeping places and Ajay will love you! (cats sleep 16 hours a day, you know!)

Well im not sure if Ajay got spayed. He got a couple of shots though..... is that it?

No spayed means...Can't have kittens...how about that? ...okay um...anyone else?

i know, but how does he get spayed. Shots, cat surgery....

Ayjas a boy right? well they don`t get spayed thats for females, males get neuteured which involves clipping of the boy parts so i´d call it surgury. Females get all the reproductive orgins taken out, that`s spayed.

My cat is very old and we´ve had him before i was born. His name is Congo, and the things my parents did to train him were:

Litter Box-Cleaning
1. Get him to look and smell the litter box.
2. Every day slowly move the litter box away.
3. And finally put the litter box in the basement or something like that- cause it may smell after a while!
4. clean the litter box once a week- but it depends if its an outdoor cat or not cause then they go less in the box and more outside!

Outdoor Cats

1. It really depends how careful and worried you are about your cat being outside cause there are fights that happen.

2. Just make sure that you spay or neuteur them before you let them out. It can be very annoying when your cat comes back as a daddy or comes back pregnant.

3. Wait till about 7 months till you let them outside. Once let out, you should follow on leash or free to see what they do. THis should go on for a month.

Snowstorm-White with tabby markings blue eyes female
Jayfeather--gray tabby blue eyes blind male
Itsybits--orange tabby with long ears green eyes female
Special--white with tabby markings blue eyes male
Keyfeather--orange tabby green eyes[ mother of all above]female

We might get 'the litle guy' tomorrow! It's gonna be saturday, after all! And then we havee to buy EVERYTHING we need to take care of him. Since his name is Ajay, i think that the obvious warrior name for him would start with 'Jay'. Jaybird? Jayflight? Jaywing? Jayfeather?

And i dont think well be letting Ajay outside. I want him to live longer! My neighbors have three cats. two black and one grayish brown. the black ones are named Isabella and Jenny and the brown and grey tabby is called Runway. Their mom calls isabella princess peanut! LOL!

They said that they have to change the litterbox 3-4 TIMES A DAY!!!!!! I'm thinking that the we'll have to change it 1-2 times a day. I don't want Ajay to smell, after all!

How long things will last:
Litter: 1 month or 2
Food: 3 or 4 months

At least, I HOPE!!!!

if your planning on spraying Ajay when he does something bad,dont.only do that when he does something like find a match in your house.(you should know what happens :lol!: )it causes them to love you a little less.also,since ive dealt with this buisness for 6 LONG years,if you want him to get a mate for more kittens,id reccomend not nudering him,no more kittehs unless you buy them.

You should name him jaybird.but,thats just me..
