Blazingkits apprentice Ceremony

Spottedstar stretched and yawned, looking at the kit starting out of the nursery. Oh, that reminded her, time for their ceremony. Jumping atop the Highrock, she called the clan together.

Blazingkit happily padded out of the nursery. He knew that it was about time that he was to become an apprentice. The ginger tom groomed his fur before sitting underneath the Highrock.

"Blazingkit, please step forward" she mewed, waiting for the kit to step forward. "Blazingkit, you have reached the age of 6 moons and are ready to begin your training. Until you have finished your training your name shall be Blazingpaw. Breezefeather shall mentor you."

Blazingpaw's heart pounded with excitement as he stepped forward. A smile grew on his face as he nodded, then searched for his mentor. This is going to be so awesome!

Hollykit stumbled out of the nursery just in time to see Blazingpaw looking around for his mentor. Her heart sank as she realized she had missed her best friend's ceremony. The kit turned around and padded back into the nursery, knowing she could congratulate him later.
