Dapplekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Dewstar climbed the Highrock and called out the familiar call. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

Lightningpaw trotted into the clearing, suddenly feeling small claws of ice rolling down his spine. Looking around to see if anyone was watching him, but all eyes were either on each other, on prey, or on Dewstar. Remembering his mother, something clicked. The Dapplepaw that died was Coalheart's apprentice. He shook his head and took a seat. Looking up at the ThunderClan leader, he pushed the thoughts about his mother's apprentice to the back of his mind.

Dapple kit padded up. He bounced around happily. "Is this my ceremony?" He asked, happily.

Lightningpaw smiled at Dapplekit. "We''l just have to wait and see now, won't we?" he meowed.

Dapple kit was very happy. He just KNEW it was his. He was six moons, after all. He bounced up and down. "I know it's mine, I know it, I know it, i know it!" He squealed. He gave his fur a few brisk licks and sat down. I know it's mine, he thought.

Dapple paw nodded. "Thank you, Dewstar." He said happily.

EagleWing walked up to his apprentice and touched noses with him. He was glad to have an apprentice. The handsome tom then stood tall and looked down at the apprentice. "Training will be tough and I will work your tail off. But at the end of the day, I think you will make a fine warrior." He smiled at his apprentice. "Congratulations."

Gingerkit ran up to Dapplepaw. "Dapplepaw! Dapplepaw! Dapplepaw!" She attempted to knock him to the side. "Congratz! One day, we could train together! I'm so happy for you!" The pretty calico licked his cheek.

Dapple kit said thanks to eagle wing. "I'm looking forward to it." He replied happily. He saw ginger kit run up to him, knocking him off his paws. "Oof!" He said. "Yeah, I hope we can soon!" He smiled. He was happy.
