A New Kit [Open]

Just two days ago Silverfang had just given birth to a new kit. Inside the nursery the warrior was curled around her kit, giving her a couple licks cleaning the kit's long fur.

Featherkit gave a grumble everytime she felt her mother's tongue drag across her back. "I'm clean! I'm clean!" She whined to her mother trying to get out of her mothers grasp. Finally the kit succeeded in getting out of her mother's paws. She quickly turned around and looked at her mother giving a "Ha!" and running out of the nursery. Once outside of the nursery the kit froze at how big, and wide the space was.

Redkit for once saw another kit. "Hello!" She shouted running up to the new kit. "Are you the new kit? What is your name? Mine is Redkit." She said it pretty fast excited to have another kit around for once. Gladly she saw the confusion in the kits face, "Are you confused?" She asked concern clouded her eyes had she over whelmed the younger kit?

Featherkit blinked then shook her head, and looked at the other kit in front of her. "I guess I am new, and my name is Featherkit She responded to Redkit, "Nice to meet you Redkit." She gave a glance back to her mother, who was the one her reminded her to be nice.

Redkit beamed at the younger kit. "Nice name Featherkit!" She said her tail flat behind her. "Do you know how to play games?" Her excitement for games fixed up inside her once more.

The kit shook her head in response, "No.." Featherkit responded sadly. She wondered what kind of games Redkit would have in mind. She also wondered where her father was.

Redkit just smiled "Can I teach you one?" She asked as she had no friends and wanted one. Don't go away, her thoughts wants her to scream it at the kit but that would only scare her away.

Featherkit jumped in excitement, "Sure!" She really wanted to do something besides sit in the nursery, with Silverfang trying to clean her all the time.

Heatherfrost opened one cyan eye lazily, and closed it again. The gold warrior stood up, and stretched. "I wonder if there are any kits to play with. Today's going pretty slow." she meowed to herself. Heatherfrost trotted toward the nursery, and saw two small kits. "Hey! I'm Heatherfrost. Who are you two?"

Featherkit jumped when she heard Heatherfrost shout. She gave out a small squeak and ran, and hid behind Silverfang. When Silverfang gave out a chuckle Featherkit poked her head out and looked at Heatherfrost.

Silverfang looked at Featherkit and pushed her out from under her with a paw, "Featherkit this is Heatherfrost, a warrior, and she isn't going to hurt you." The silver warrior looked up at at Heatherfrost, "Heatherfrost this is Featherkit, My kit." She purred

"I am Redkit. And I want to play mossball." She declared. Her chest was puffed out excitedly, "Do you want to play?" She started jumping around in much excitement.

Heatherfrost smiled at Silverfang. "Congratulations!" she purred. The warrior smiled at Featherkit, and laughed at Redkit's energy. "Sure, in a minute!" she meowed.

"Really?" Her eyes widened in amazement. A warrior playing with her, Redkit! She squealed with joy mind fuzzy with excitement eyes gleaming.

Slowly Featherkit made her way back over to the other two, "I wanna play too" She said in a soft tone. "I need to learn how to play though." She said in a stronger voice.

Heatherfrost laughed again, and nodded.

"So you do? Well why don't we play moss ball! First you throw the ball to the other cats and try to keep it if the ground." She said declaring the rules hoping the other kit understood.
