A Perfect Day for a ThunderClan Kit...

Eaglekit ran to the middle of the camp. He looked around for anything to do. After ten minutes of looking, he got bored and he sat down. He relaxed until someone came to interact with him.

Maplepaw had been hunting and had captured a decent amount of prey, when she decided to go back to camp. Once she entered, she noticed a tiny kit sitting in the center. Maplepaw dropped off her fresh-kill at the pile and headed over to the youngster. "Hello there! What are you doing just sitting there like that?" She asked.

Brackenpaw padded up behind Maplepaw and purred, "You're the new kit, huh? I'm Brackenpaw, what's your name?" He then nodded his head to Maplepaw, "How's the hunting?"

Maplepaw turned to Brackenpaw. "Pretty good, I've caught a decent amount of prey," she said.

"Hey, Eaglekit," Palekit called as he slid out of the nursery, relishing the warm breeze that danced past his nose. Sitting down next to his fellow kit, he looked towards the apprentices.

"Why do we wait so long to become apprentices?" he asked, tail swishing in curiosity. "I want to hunt, too."

Maplepaw laughed. "Well, if a small kit like you tried to hunt a bigger animal...it would be hard to kill. Don't worry, you'll be an apprentice soon," she reassured the kit.

Eaglekit looks at everyone that's around him. He purrs in delight at the feeling of company. "Hello, I'm just waiting for something to do! Nice to meet you, Brackenpaw, I'm Eaglekit! And hello, Palekit!" He turns his head to Maplepaw and says, "What's your name?"

"I'm Maplepaw," She said happily. "Do you want to play a game?" Maplepaw asked.

Palekit looked to Maplepaw, and then back at Eaglekit. "I'm up for it.. How about you?"

"I am!" Eaglekit purred and narrowed his eyes. He stood up and flicked his tail back and forth. He was ready for anything.

"Ok," Maplepaw said, standing up also. "Let's split up into teams. Should we do apprentices against kits, or one kit and one apprentice on each team?" She asked, noticing there was two apprentices and two kits. She didn't want to tell them the game yet, because she had two games in mind. It all mattered what type of team the other cats chose.

"I think we should do one apprentice and kit on each team. It's much better in my opinion," Eaglekit replied. He blinked his handsome green eyes at Maplepaw.

Maplepaw nodded. "Ok, here is how the game works. It's a battle of Thunderclan vs. Riverclan for sunningrocks. The two apprentices are the leaders and the kits can be the deputies. Eaglekit can be on my team, and Palekit and Brackenpaw can be on a team. So, Brackenpaw's team, you can pick which clan you want to be. Riverclan, or Thunderclan." Maplepaw said, Turning to Brackenpaw and Palekit.

Eaglekit smiled at Maplepaw. "This should be really fun! I can't wait to start!" He happily jumped in the air twice.

Palekit's crystalline eyes gleamed with the prospect of a challenge. "Alright, sounds good to me." He felt the fur on his back prickle. It had been a while since anyone had come up with a decent game.
