Ic: Addertail rolled his eyes. "Hunting patrol. We'll chase the fox out if it's not too dangerous, but that's only if we scent or see it first. Focus on getting food for our clan." He huffed, though his mossy eyes glittered with amusement that the young tom was so eager to go hunt the thing down. Even so, he seemed a little too excited; Addertail didn't really like the grin he was making. Nevertheless, he wouldn't worry about it now. Time to hunt as Dewstar ordered.

Nightfire exited after Dewstar, giving the clan a quick sweep over. If they were upset, he understood, but no need to get out of order and fight over it. They need to deal with more important matters. For him right now, it was talking to Dewstar. He dipped his head to her and then padded into his den, sitting down when they were deep enough into it. Looking to Dewstar, he waited for her to continue.

OOC: So sorry guys ;-; I have been..... kinda busy. Rescued baby bunnies, 2 died. Took the rest to wildlife lady. Had then for maybe 3-4 days. Bunnies are difficult and attention demanding ;-;

Falconflight walked over to the crowd of cats near Addertail."I'll join the patrol."He meowed loudly over the meowing and yowling.How can one fox-heart like Soulfang cause so much attention for himself than getting rid of a fox cub or hunting?He heard his name and followed the patrol.

Dewstar closed her eyes momentarily, collecting her thoughts. Her tail continued flicking. "Start from the beginning and tell me how it happened." She said after a moment. Her voice was emotionless, neither angry nor careless. Great. Perhaps the most wanted cat in the forest, and he slips right through my claws! The other leaders will be very angry. They might even suspect me of treachery...

OOC: Oh god.... I barely remember

Nightfire sighed and then went on with the story. "I took him out with me to collect herbs and I was still groggy. As I was looking for herbs, an injured fox cub came from the undergrowth. I was just looking at his injury and seeing if he was going to try and attack when I looked back around and he was gone."

OOC: Except for the fact that there's a topic you can go back and look through

IC: "A fox cub?" She asked, astounded. "And you say it was injured? How odd, to not see its mother running about with it." Dewstar was silent a moment. "Has anyone tracked his scent, to see where he's run off to? If we're lucky, he ran somewhere other than ShadowClan territory and we can pursue him... the other Clans would let us. I don't even know if ShadowClan would accept him back, but I wouldn't want to take any chances."

"Last time I saw, the cub was coming from Shadowclan territory." Nightfire pondered for a moment. "How did the cub even get injured? The only things I could think of would be a badger or another cat, and I didn't smell badger on it"

OOC: *tries....to....find....color*

Her ear twitched in annoyance. "Stay on track, Nightfire. Have you tracked Soulfang down or not?" She asked plainly.

Nightfire sighed slightly, looking straight at Dewstar. Hadn't she just heard what she just told her clan? "You just sent the others out to hunt or patrol the borders. They just headed out so I have no clue if they found where his scent went"

She stood up, ready to leave the den. "Very well. I won't punish you, but you will have to answer to the Clans at the next Gathering." With that, Dewstar left the den, her tail still swishing. She padded across the clearing, grabbing a mouse from the fresh-kill pile, and scaled the Highrock to keep an eye on the camp entrance. She liked eating on top of the rock because she could watch over her camp, and it helped her feel like there was something she could do about the slow decline of ThunderClan that was happening in her eyes.
