Ravenkit, Duskkit, and Snowkits' Apprentice Ceremony

Nightstar slipped out of her den, and leaped onto the Jagged-rock. The new leader looked out over the camp. A small flare of pride fluttered in her heart has she called out. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Jagged-rock for a clan meeting!" She let her words echo for a long moment, before she fixed her gaze on the nursery. Three more apprentices. The clan sure was getting full.

Ravenkit slipped from the nursery, quietly taking her seat below the Jagged Rock. Her fur was neatly groomed, and she was glad to finally be made an apprentice... hopefully.

Duskkit padded out of the nursery and sat by Ravenkit. Duskkit hadn't mad much friends yet. She usually kept to herself. She waited, thinking what this was about. She was the age of an apprentice, maybe she would become an apprentice today!

Nightcloud looked up from the fresh-kill pile, surprise flicking across her face as she pulled herself away from the pile. She glanced around the clearing, trying to figure out what the gathering was for when she noticed two kits appearing from the nursery, looking to be about apprentice age. She smiled softly, realizing that it very well could be an apprentice ceremony. She sat down, her ears flicking as she waited for the rest of the Clan to gather and for the gathering to start.

Ooc: Well, because Snow has disappeared for quite a while, I think it would be best to go without her. It wouldn't be fair for you guys if you had to wait longer.

Ic: Nightstar looked over to apprentices to-be. Wasn't there supposed to be another one? She shook it off. Perhaps Snowkit was sick. "Today we are reviving new apprentices. Ravenkit, Duskkit. Please step forward."

Duskkit stepped forward, with joy filling her body.

Rvenkit took her place beside Duskkit. The young apprentices' eyes sparkled with joy.

If possible... May I request Nightcloud as a mentor for Raven? If not, that is totally fine. :)

"Raven, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Ravenpaw. Your mentor will be Nightcloud. I hope Nightcloud will pass down all she knows on to you."Nightstar mewed, her eyes sliding to the next kit. "Duskkit, you have also reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forth until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Duskpaw. Your mentor will be Cinderfrost. I hope Cinderfrost will pass all the knows to you."

Her blue gaze  swept over to the warriors she had chosen. "Nightcloud, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Sagewhisker, and you have shown yourself to have patience and Wisdom. You will be the mentor of Ravenpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." She then turned to look at the next warrior. "Cinderfrost, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Nightcloud, and you have shown yourself to be quick and attentive. You will be the mentor of Duskpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." With a swish of her tail, she ended the meeting, and took a leap down to the ground below.

Ravenpaws' eyes lit up. She was an apprentice now! She dipped her head in respect to the leader, and went to touch noses with her mentor.

A soft glimmer appeared in Nightcloud's eyes as she looked up at Nightstar, a bit surprised that she was getting an apprentice. She already had Eaglepaw, but they were almost done with their training anyways, so perhapes it was a good idea that she was getting Ravenpaw. She happily pulled herself to her feet and made her way over to Ravenpaw, touching noses with the apprentice. "I will do my best at teaching you all that I can," she said with a soft hum, a purr rising in her throat.

Duskpaw saw Ravenpaw touch noses with her new mentor, so Duskpaw walked over to Cinderfrost to do the same.
