Ravenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, a serious expression in her face as she looked at her clan from the elevated spot before finally speaking “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Ravenkit came out of the nursery, almost running towards the gathering place, she knew what was going to happen and boy, she was so eager and ready!

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on Ravenkit, please, step forward” Blizzardstar waited for the apprentice to do as she was told before speaking again “Ravenkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Ravenpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Dawnpetal. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Dawnpetal's eyes widened. She was to mentor her first adopted daughter? This truly was a grand day for the both of them! She approached her daughter -- and new apprentice -- and touched her nose to hers. "Just because I'm your mother, that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you," she teased playfully.

Ravenpaw meowed in surprise when she knew who was going to be her mentor, she lifted her head and touched her nose with her mother´s, and purred "I hope not, give me everything you got, i´m ready!"
