Kits, Open your Eyes... [OPEN topic]

Berrykit looked curiously at Owlkit. "Hi! I'm Berrykit! Who are you? You want to be friends?" he gazed him and thought he was trustworthy enough.

Twistedfoot glanced at Badgerkit when he noticed the young kit sticking close, and leaned down and gently nudged the kit toward his siblings who were already exploring. "Come on, Badgerkit," he said with a soft smile, "You can't let them think you are a scared are you? You got to be their big brother!"

Badgerkit turned his head to look at his father with a soft amusement, but he nodded. Of course, he couldn't be letting his younger siblings get the better of him...Of course, he was the second oldest but that didn't change a thing! He puffed out his chest and scrambled out from his father's shadow, heading toward his siblings. He wasn't sure which one he wanted to head to, so when he saw a giant rock that stuck up in the clearing; his attention was quickly changed. His paws scrambled on the dusty ground as he reached the base of the rock, having not noticed his father following him. He gently reared onto his back paws, and with some effort not to tip backwards, manged to place his front paws on the base of it. His paws pounded gently on the rock, his way of trying to climb it before he turned his confused gaze to his father, clearing asking what the giant rock was for.

Twistedfoot laughed as he watched his son try to climb the rock, and looked at his other kits. They seemed to be a bit to distracted in their own exploring, so he turned back to Badgerkit and cleared his throat. "This would be the Tallrock, Badgerkit. The leader calls Clan meetings from all the way up there. I think you would like the leader; she is my mother after all. Speaking of which, where is she...? I am sure she would love to meet you guys."

Owlkit smiled at Berrykit and Cloudkit. He definitely liked these new kits, they were so friendly to him. Maybe because they didn't know he was mute yet, but he hoped that wouldn't matter. He got a ball of moss and nudged it towards the kits then pointed outside with his tail. He was asking them if they wanted to go outside and play mossball.

Hawkkit noticed Badgerkit and her father near a giant rock. She has the sudden urge to climb something. So, trying to be the best, she ran over to climb the rock. She hopped on, only to slide off again. She hopped back onto it and dug her tiny claws in. She stayed where she was, knowing that she had showed off enough to her younger siblings. She jumped back down, stumbling slightly.

Seeing that Berrykit and Cloudkit were busy with Owlkit, while Hawkkit and Badgerkit were trying to climb the Tallrock, Ravenkit looked around, before scenting a sweet smell. Taking a quick sniff, she quickly forgot about her inability to feel her ears, heading in the direction of the aroma - which happened to be the medicine cat den. Looking around, the she-kit saw all kinds of herbs. For once, actually showing some signs of curiosity, Ravenkit sniffed a few of the herbs, being careful not to take the chance of eating one of them. If anyone entered, she didn't take notice, considering her hearing was fairly poor.

Berrykit looked at Owlkit in confusion. Couldn't this cat talk? He shrugged his shoulders and snatched up the ball of moss. He ran away from Owlkit and turned back. He stuck his tongue out at him. He wanted him to follow him so they could play some more. He didn't realize that he was beside Badgerkit, Hawkkiit and his father.

Owlkit padded after Berrykit. He snatched the mossball out of his mouth and ran away a bit, before passing the ball back.

Shadeheart saw Ravenkit head into the Medicine cat's den, and followed her to make sure she didn't eat any bad herbs. This is one smart kit, she thought, when she saw that the kit wasn't actually eating any herbs. "Ravenkit?" she asked, hoping not to scare the kit.

Before Cloudkit even got a choice, the other two kits ran out with a ball of something. He obviously wanted to play whatever they were playing so he ran after the two cats and intercepted the ball when Owlkit tried to pass it to Berrykit. "Haha the ball is mine"! He shouted in excitement, then he mewed, "You know Owlkit, you could just ask to play ball with us." Because he didn't understand why he didn't just ask them to.

Berrykit ran over to Cloudkit and snatched it from him. When he was running back to his spot he bumped into the Tallrock. Berrykit stared at this large rock and tried to climb it. He couldn't really dig his claws in and kept slipping down. He spotted Hawkit, Badgerkit and Twistedfoot around the rock too. He had forgoten all about the ball of moss until it was snatched from him.

After looking through the herbs, Ravenkit had just started to leave when she saw Shadeheart. While not startled exactly, she was a bit surprised, though she was unfazed by the fact that the medicine cat saw her. Blinking a few times, the black she-cat nodded, mewing, "Yes...?" She wasn't sure what she was supposed to say, but it kind of interested her about what Shadeheart did for the clan. It was different, because she healed. Perhaps Ravenkit thought, she could be a medicine cat who could also fight well and hunt. However, that doesn't seem right.

"What are you doing in here?" Shadeheart asked. She was trying not to scare the young kit but she didn't know if she was succeeding or not.

Owlkit looked at Cloudkit and shook his head. He tried to say that he couldn't talk but he couldn't find a way. It was hard for him to say things without speaking, like asking to play mossball. Saying anything would be a challenge for him, but being mute would not stop him from being the best warrior there is and ever was.

Looking back to the herbs, Ravenkit continued to look at them carefully before she turned her glance back to Shadeheart. Her eyes deeply showed nothing, nor did her fur, which stayed flat, though the she-kit was mainly curious, not... Scared. "Herbs... Looking..." the young raven colored kit replied, her voice giving nothing away or to the fact, that she was quite curious. She'd like to be a warrior, but maybe herbs would be her better interest... Or, maybe both?

A small tabby appeared behind Ravenkit as she had heard about Lavenderheart's kits being out. Because the small warrior had heard Ravenkit, she wanted to say hi. She looked tiny compared to Shadeheart, but she flanked that. "Hello there, Shadeheart. And, if I am correct, Ravenkit?" The small cat mewed gently, curling her tail over her paws.

Hawkkit took the lead and ran over to almost every other cat and dodged them and explored the camp on her own. She noticed that one den had cats bigger than her, but not the biggest she had seen, so she assumed this was the apprentices den. She discovered the other dens and lastly went to the medicine cat den and looked inside to see her sister Ravenkit. She padded inside and smelt the disgusting herbs. Well she is never going to be medicine cat.....

Shadeheart smiled. All these cats... she thought. Then, noticing Ivyfur and Hawkkit, she meowed a hello to them. "Are you interested in learning about the herbs, Ravenkit?" she asked.
