Light, Briar, and Maple's Apprentice Ceremony.

Later in the day, following the first apprentice ceremony, Froststar bounded over to the willow tree one last time. Only three more ceremonies- and then all she had to do was help mentor these kits. Wonderful. Sighing silently, she called out to the clan again, wondering if her voice was going to get hoarse after all this yelling. She wouldn't be surprised.

Maplekit came bounding from the nursery; her fur puffed out in excitement. Finally; she was going to become an apprentice! She slid to a stop; her eyes sparkling as she settled down as she waited for Lightkit and Briarkit to gather with her so this ceremony could truly start.

Brairkit dashed out of the nursery her pelt nice, and smooth for she had washed it. She skidded to a stop next to Maplekit excited to find out who her mentor would be.

Lightkit came racing out of the nursery today was her day! She was going to be an apprentice. She just new it. She raced over to willow tree and sat next to the other two kits.

Spotting the kits in the clearing, Froststar quickly continued. "Lightkit, Briarkt, and Maplekit, you have all reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lightpaw, Briarpaw, and Maplepaw. Lightpaw, I will be your mentor. Briarpaw, your mentor will be Reedheart, and Maplepaw, Silvershade will mentor you. I hope they pass down all they know to you."

A silly grin appeared on Maplekit...No, Maplepaw, as she got his mentor. The deputy? Sure that wasn't at great as Lightpaw getting Froststar, but hey, the deputy wasn't a bad choice. She glanced around the clearing for Silvershade, before racing forward when she saw the deputy. She balanced on her back paws to touch noses with the larger cat, a smile on her face. "I won't let you down, Silvershade!" she whispered, her tail flickering with glee.

Reedheart, who had definitely been there the whole time (and whose roleplayer had been totally aware that he was getting an apprentice), beamed at the news of another apprentice. Hard work, sure, especially with Cherrypaw's training still ongoing, but it was an honor to teach the future leaders, deputies, and warriors of the Clan and pass down everything Froststar had passed down to him when he was an apprentice.

Lightkit looked up at froststar. "I'm not ligtkit any more. I'm Lightpaw." She whiperd to herself "Lightpaw Lightpaw Lightpaw...." She whisperd smiling. She couldn't believe that Froststar was her mentor.
