Maples leaves in the sky(open)

It was probably early morning or so the tortie and white kitten wanted to think. Flicking her small tail she stood eagerly and started to scramble out of the nest which laid her mother and siblings. Small amber eyes focused on the entrance of the nursery she climbed out and scampered over to the entrance eager.

Bump

Rosepaw was sitting with such boredom that she almost fell asleep. She blinked to get herself to wake up then stretched her limbs. Sitting up she pouted as she looked around camp. It still wasn't right that she is still an apprentice when a kit that she played with one time is now a warrior. Taking a deep breath she spotted a kit near the entrance to the nursery and smiled a bit inside. It reminded her of Dandeliondapple when she was a kit or rather her also. She got to her paws and padded over to the tiny kit with a sad smile. She couldn't help but think this kit would properly be a warrior and she would still be stuck as an apprentice. "Hello little one. How are you today?"

Maplekit blinked as a apprentice approached her. For a moment the kit shyed back her head tilted as she looked up at the bigger cat. She relaxed some"i..im good how are you""She mewed"I'm Maplekit"she mewed

Rosepaw smiled a bit more as she saw the kit raising her head back to look at her. "There's no need to be shy little one. And I'm doing..good." Really it was the opposite but this kit didn't need to know that, she thought. "Thank you by the way." A kit with manners! "Maplekit huh? That is a very cute name. I'm Rosepaw." Her tail flicked a bit as she sat down.

Maplekit relaxed a bit and inched her way closer."it's nice to meet you....i..like your name too"She gave a small squeak.

Rosepaw padded the ground next to her with her tail then looked up to the sky. "Its nice to meet you too. And thank you. So..is this your first time out of the nursery?" She didn't know what else to say and she wanted Maplekit to not be shy or scared of her.

Maplekit blinked and then moved closer eying her tail for a moment as if she wanted to chase after it. She then looked to her."it is my first time....could..you show Mr around?"She asked eagerly.

Rosepaw smiled brightly as she noticed the kit eying her tail, so she wants to play huh? Then she blinked at Maplekit's question, "Of course! I love showing kits around. Where do you want to see first?" Her tail flicked with the idea of showing another kit around really it made her happy to see the young kits explore camp for the first time.

"Hmm I wanna see the apprentices den first"She squeaked jumping to her white paws eagerly. Despite her at first shyness she was really an outgoing kit and very eager.

Rosepaw purred a bit at seeing how eager this kit was she got to her paws. "Okay! Let's go then!" She marched along her tail streaming behind her she glanced over her shoulder to see if the kit was following. She signed inwardly, the innocence of a kit is so calming to her they haven't faced any hardships before it was..nice every once in a while. It didn't take long before they were in front of the apprentice den she smiled down at the kit. "Are you excited for when you become an apprentice? I know I was practically clawing at the walls trying to get outside when I was about your age."
