Duskpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Thunderclan meeting!"

It was a cool, breezy afternoon, and it had only been recently since Thunderclan's deputy, Mosspelt, had passed on word to the leader that his apprentice, Duskpaw, was ready to become a warrior. Lionstar himself could be busy at times, though right now he didn't have anything to do and figured the older apprentice had waited far too long for this moment. Duskpaw was probably the oldest apprentice to live in Thunderclan during Lionstar's time of leadership. But now that would come to an end, as the tom deserved his ceremony possibly more than anyone else. It was his Warrior Ceremony.

Mosspelt padded from the warriors den, a smile on his ace. His apprentice had waited for this moment for a long time, so Mosspelt was proud. He dipped his head in greeting to his leader as he sat in his usual spot below Highrock.

Duskpaw padded out of the apprentice's den slowly and sat down next to the fresh kill pile.
"Good morning Lionstar and to you as well Mosspelt." Duskpaw said respectfully towards his clanmates..

Lionstar glanced down at Duskpaw. "Duskpaw, please step forward to the front of the crowd." He meowed calmly.

Mosspelt smiled at his apprentice, his eyes gleaming with happiness for Duskpaw. "You earned this...finally" he whispered, barely audible.

Duskpaw padded forward toward his leader and mentor.

Lionstar glanced down at Duskpaw, who had been an apprentice for far too long. He looked like a young warrior, for Starclan's sake. "Duskpaw, please step forward." He meowed, beckoning the tom forward with a flick of his tail. Turning his gaze to Mosspelt, he carried on the ceremony. "Mosspelt, Thunderclan's famous deputy, do you agree that your apprentice is ready to become a Warrior of Thunderclan?" He asked calmly, having done this several times.

Mosspelt nodded and said "Yes he is ready. He has proven to me that he is eligible to be a warrior on multiple occasions."

"I do." Duskpaw replied.

Ic: "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Duskpaw, from this moment you will be known as Duskfang. Starclan honors your bravery and skill, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan!" Lionstar finished, raising his chin to the sky.

"Duskfang! Duskfang!"

Ooc: Will edit if you don't like the name, but you didn't give me one. If you want to you can now and I'll change it x) The name I put was representing his hunting skill. It was originally going to be Duskfur since I couldn't think of something that really described your cat, but I figured you'd want something more accurate.
