Tawnypaw's Warrior Ceremony

Dewstar stood on Highrock and yowled loudly. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock!"

Tawnypaw stepped out of the apprentice den with Bramblepaw padding after her. They both went and sat down before the leader.

Rookheart stepped out and padded over. The warrior beckoned with her tail Bramblepaw and the two sat together and waited for the leader to continue.

"Tawnypaw," The leader began, "please come forward. I, Dewstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in their turn. Tawnypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." Tawnypaw said.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. Fromthis day forward, you shall be known as Tawnywing. StarClan honors your patience and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." As usual, she jumped from the rock and rested her muzzle on the new warrior's head.

Tawnyp-Tawnywing's eyes shone with happiness and she shook with excitement.

"Tawnywing! Tawnywing!" Rookheart and Bramblepaw called out.
