Whitepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Lionstar leaped onto the Highrock, scanning the camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!" He called out.

Ooc: This is for after Whitepaw posts in the gathering at least once, which she will probably do soon when she gets on, so I went ahead and made this for later since I'm a bit busy.

A minor but annoying injury is causing me to only use one hand to type(holding up a bag of ice with the other), so I rather not type too much right now. I apologize if this is too short.

Ooc: Excuse this double-post, but you all can post now, as Whitepaw's requirements are all one and I don't want this topic to be forgotten.

Dewclaw pushed her way from the warriors den, stretching as she went. She took a seat close to the rock to get a good view.

Whitepaw came out of the apprentices den and got with the other cats beneath the highrock. Then he waited looking up at Lionstar.

"Whitepaw please step forward." The tom meowed.

Ooc: More low muse.

Whitepaw walked to the front of the crowd

The large, long-furred tom glanced at the apprentice before raising his chin to the sky. "I, Lionstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Whitepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" He asked, making sure his voice was loud and clear.

Whitepaw stared at Lionstar then said "I do."

He smiled. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your Warrior name. Whitepaw, from this moment on you shall be known as Whitefoot. The clan honors your speed and skills, and we welcome you as a full Warrior of Thunderclan!" Lionstar finished, leaping down to touch his nose to the new Warrior's head, as done in the ceremonies.

Whitefoot was so happy he could barely hold back a yowl of exitement.

Lionstar took a step back, smiling. "Tonight you shall sit vigil beneath Silverpelt, silent and guarding the camp entrance. At dawn, a warrior will come release you from your post." He meowed, finishing.

"Whitefoot! Whitefoot!"

Whitefoot noded and went to meet all of the other cats.
