Do we have toooooooooooooooooo? /shot

Sagestar cleaned his throat and took the honor of stepping up to the Great Rock. "I'm not wasting moonlight by waiting on SkyClan any longer." He muttered to the other three leaders. Curiously, he pondered, what was taking them so long. Their border scents had been stale lately, but he supposed they were having the hardest time recovering. Perhaps this was the perfect time, though, to take more land for themselves. Those thoughts were for later though.
"Let the gathering begin!" The tom yowled, silencing all the other cats. "I will speak first. We mourn the loss of our young warrior, Fallencloud - who watches us now from StarClan. Shr died from the last echoes of those rogues." He didn't feel the need to explain more than that, looking rather solemn for a few moments, but quickly shaking out of it and standing taller. "Still, our ancestors have blessed us with a prey-rich new-leaf and many new kits, and we are stronger than ever." Sagestar flicked his emerald gaze across the clearing and at the other leaders before stepping back.

Reedheart looked up to the Great Rock, a bit confused on why the gray tabby had started the Gathering without SkyClan. Wouldn't that anger StarClan? Still, with a glance up at the sky, he could understand. The warrior caught himself getting lost staring up at the round disc in the sky when Sagestar announced Fallencloud's death. Reedheart bowed his head respectfully in silence for a couple of moments before looking back up, trying to pay attention to Sagestar. The ShadowClan warrior's death was a shame; he hadn't known the warrior that well, only from the time that ShadowClan sheltered with them. Still, she had seemed so capable and so young, and it was a shame that her life had to end so short.

Lionstar stepped up next, glancing at Sagestar. "May Starclan welcome your fallen Warrior." He meowed, bowing his head before turning to the crowd, standing tall. "Thunderclan has grown stronger than it has been in many moons, with several new apprentices, kits, and Warriors." He began. "Prey is running well. We have two new Warriors, followed by a new apprentice: Welcome, Opossumtail, Whitefoot, and Mosspaw!"

The tom waited for any cheers or such to quiet down before stepping back, dipping his head to the others.

Brightpaw sat off to the side and bowed her head in respect, though she already knew it. Her mind wondered to SkyClan. How can they be so late... She thought. How can we start without them? She shook off the looming feeling and waited for the next leader to speak.

Mosspelt let out a cheer and smiled. He looked for the apprentice and warriors, a look of pride on his face for his Clan.

Mosspaw lifted her chin in pride. She could hear the cheers of the cats. Then she looked around for the newly appionted warriors which included her mentor.

Possumtail shied a little when Lionstar said her name put then she sat up straight.

Whitefoot lifted his chin proudly. Then he saw Mosspaw and Possumtail and smiled at them.

Minteyes settled down and waited for Raccoonstar to step up and announce Twistedpaw's apprenticeship. The she-cat listened to Lionstar and Sagestar speak our their clans, the loses, gains, and the prey.

Mosspaw glanced around when Lionstar finished speaking. She saw many other cats doing the same as if waiting for SkyClan to appear at that moment. Where was SkyClan? Why aren't they coming? Why isn't StarClan angry at us for starting the meeting without them? Mosspaw thought. Unanswered questions ran through her mind. She shook her head to dismiss the questions. She took another glance at the sky for a sign and then around Fourtree's to see if SkyClan was there yet.

Really sorry about double posting but I don't want this to die until after WindClan announces the departure of SkyClan. Sorry.
