Expedition of the kits

As they entered she smiled "Its big!" she sqeaked and padded in carefully.

"I know it's huge" she said looking around "it smells interesting"

"I totally agree" she purred shaking off the last bits of snow from her pelt, taking a step onward the smell of the inticing herbs dragged her forward. Lowering her half-colored head she sniffed the herbs with a slight snort of digust she lift up her head and with her tiny paw tore it up. "That teaches you for smelling so bad!" she snorted. Sitting down she licked her one white paw and then after licking it she carried on tearing up herbs.

Stormstar let out a small yawn as he padded from his den. The moment the cold, wet snow touch his paw, he leaped back in surprise. Blinking once or twice, he soon let out a small chuckle. Right, it was leaf-bare. He glanced around the clearing when he noticed the medicine cat den. His daughter had yet to move in, and Stormstar figured that now was a great time to visit to pay honor to Wildheart before Icepaw moved in. He padded though the snow and toward the den when two scents hit his mouth. It was his daughter, Patchkit, and one of the newest kits, Blackkit. What was they doing in the medicine cat den? He poked his way in, his eyes widen at the sight of the torn herbs and the two kits. "What do you think you two are doing!" he demanded, pushing himself all the way into the den. With a swift movement of his paws, he took the torn herb from his daughter's paws, his yellow eyes as cold as they could be.

Blackkit spun around her fur fluffed out and shaking. Her eyes as big as moons she slowly looked up to find the biggest cat she had ever seen!

"Uh, I had a reason daddy! they smelt very bad. not good!" she rambled on and on about how they smelt so bad. her tail drooped down lake it had no bones in it, she never herd her dad use this tone of voice. She looked up at her infuriated dad with fear of what he may do, after all he was the leader. She took a glance at Blackkit, preying for her to help her in this situation but it could be nearly impossible, she was way younger than her after and more easily intimidated.

Noting how scared the kits were, Stormstar took a deep breath before letting his fur lay down. "They may not smell good, but they are very helpful. This," he meowed as he flicked his long tail around the den, "is the medicine cat den. Your sister will be sleeping here soon, and this used to be my brother's den..." Stormstar drifted off. "Please, do not rip the herbs in here. Now that it is leaf-bare, we will not be able to restock and we need all the herbs we can get."

"We're sorry" blackkit said shrinking closer to the ground.

She sighed with slight, bitter releif of her dads tone dropping "Alright daddy." she looked up at her dad and approached him, rubbing herself against his paw "I love you daddy" she meowed, to Blackkit may think this is strange for she didn't know Stormstar was her father. She shook her fluffy calico pelt and some of the torn herbs flew from her black, white and orange pelt.

Glancing at Patchkit then at Blackkit, he just shook his head. "It's alright to two. You didn't know and you are just kits. Just don't do it again." With a small snort, Stormstar pulled himself away from his little kit before turning and trotting from the den before glancing back. "Why don't you two head back to the nursery, or at least keep in the clearing in sight of the nursery."

"Ok" blackkit said jumping up "come on patchkit" she squeeked running towards the opening of the Medicen cats den

Patchkit mentally broke down cuz her daddy never showed affection back Patchkit sighed sadly "Alright daddy" she meowed and watched as her father left and nodded as her told her to go to the nursery. She looked down at the ground with guilt and padded towards the outside of the nursery. She sat there, her tail still drooped as loose as ever.

"Aww it's not that bad patchkit" she said coming back and sitting next to her and putting her tail on her shoulder.
