Hunting Expedition

Sitting in camp Runningfoot waited for the apprentices to join her. She had planned to get some hunting practice in today. She knew that her mother was very busy. She was waiitng for Shiningpaw, Icepaw, and Stormpaw or who ever else waited to join. The gray she-cat's tail flicked back and forth, sweeping the ground underneath.

Stormpaw came bounded from the apprentice den, his eyes lighting up when he saw Runningfoot. "Hello!" he greeted the deputy as he waited for other apprentices to join, excited for the hunting expedition.

Icepaw padded over. "May I join?" He asked politely, dipping his head.

ooc: Since this is sort of training, can I join? After all my hunting training is going on right now anyways.

Runningfoot nodded her head to the apprentices, "Of course" The she-cat was glad that they were excited.

OOC: Sure anyone from WindClan may join

Shiningpaw bounded across camp and slid to a stop next to her brother. "ready!"

Runningfoot saw her apprentice bounding across camp to join them. The deputy smiled at her younger sister.

Icepaw kneaded his paws on the ground. "Can we go yet? I can't wait to start trying out my new techniques Butterflystar taught me!" He mewed excitedly.

"ya! lets go!" Shiningpaw mewed excitedly she coulden't wait to learn to hunt.

Runningfoot nodded and trotted to her favorite hunting spot. "Stormpaw and Icepaw, stay together, and Shiningpaw you can come with me. We come back here with anything you catch." The deputy eyed all the apprentices. Hoping that all of the apprentices would come back with something.

Stormpaw glanced at Icepaw and nodded, before padded away. He soon noticed a rabbit and flicked his tail at Icepaw, telling him to stay there. He slowly pulled himself near the rabbit, then leaped at it, giving it a chase. He slammed his paw down near the rabbit, but it disappeared down a hole.

Icepaw padded over to Stormpaw. "Good try," he mewed, before sniffing around the hole. "I think there's another side!" He gasped, running around. Suddenly, the rabbit burst out of another hole, Icepaw streaking after it before he pounced, grabbing it. He bit down on it's neck, and dragged it back to them. "Caught it!" He purred, dropping it at Stormpaw's paws.

Stormpaw smiled at Icepaw, before noticing another rabbit and going after it. Hoping that this time he would get it and wouldn't make a fool of himself. He leaped at the fat rabbit, and in no time he had his own fresh kill. "Sweet!" he purred as he gazed at his fresh kill before picking it up and padding over to Icepaw.
