Emberkit's second time out of the nursery [OPEN]

It was Emberkit's second time out of the nursery. Her mind was filling up with questions, but one thing was blocking the rest off: Don't make a fool of yourself. She didn't want to make a bad impression. Emberkit already knew that some of these dens she shouldn't go in, but still, she wanted to explore! She glanced around the camp wondering what to do. Finally her gaze rested on the fresh kill pile. It was piled high. Wow! She thought. The hunting patrol must have just returned! She scuttled over to the fresh kill pile and finally, at the top rested a mouse. She jumped as high as she could and snatched it up with her teeth. She decided to bring the mouse back to the nursery for everyone. On the way back, she saw a beetle, a stupid one she'd say, scuttle across the clearing. She dropped the dead mouse she was holding and quickly pounced at the beetle. She missed the beetle, by stepping on a twig. Mouse-Dung!, She thought. She grabbed the mouse from the fresh-kill pile and scampered into the nursery.

Sorry, I really need to read the titles more often... I'll be more watchful

OoC: I apologize for bursting in here, especially so late. ^^; It was just brought to my attention that there was something wrong with this topic. Kits simply can't catch prey, especially not on a first try in the middle of camp. Again, I'm sorry, but you're going to have to restart this topic. ^^;
