A New Kit in Camp

"Dawnkit, you are to stay here," Shadowsong said immediately after her former apprentice agreed to take her along. "Go into the nursery and get some rest. Scarletfire must do her duties alone. Nightkit, go with Dawnkit."

IC: Nightkit flew across the clearing and hit his head against a rock and was knocked out and seveirly hurt.

Ebony magically poofed by Nightkit. "Ohai. so i herd u were ded."

Scarletfire was about to speak, but she heard Shadowsong. "Yeah, Dawnkit. That's a good idea. You should comfort your friend. He looks a little beat," she commented before continuing.

Shadowsong padded up to Nightkit with a look of worry on her face. "Nightkit," She mewed with deep concern. "Here, let me get Tawnyfur." She then carefully picked him up by the scruff of his neck and carefully carried him to the Medicine Cat's den.

Nightkit groaned "Oww..my head"

Ghoststar came out of her den slowly. She looked defeated. "What's going on out here?!" she yowled.

Nightkit yowled this time coming into consiuosness "Oww!!!!!"

Shadowsong gently placed the small kit in the medicine cat's den only to hear Ghoststar's voice. It was the first time in a long time that she had head the leader and it was surprising that she reappeared now. With a heavy aggravated sigh, the deputy padded over to Ghoststar. "I need to speak with you," She told her urgently.

Ghoststar narrowed her eyes and walked back into her den. Expecting Shadowsong to follow.

Nightkit curled up in one of the nests and started rubbing his head with his paw. "Bye Grandma" he whispered

Quietly, the deputy followed. Once inside the den, she glanced back to see if she could still see Scarletfire. After a few seconds of studying the camp, she turned back to Ghoststar shaking her head. "Scarletfire is out of control. I don't know what has gotten into her recently but her whole attitude has changed. She seriously injured one of our own kits-- newer kits-- and didn't even show remorse. I believe she has turned away from Starclan and now walks in the Place of No Stars. What should we do with her?"

Ghoststar's eyes dropped from exhaustion. "I believe that of she is no longer with StarClan then she is no longer with ShadowClan. I think we shall have to turn her lose. Make her a rouge." She sighed. "I was hoping she would be a great warrior too..."

She looked down at the ground for a moment in agreement. "Me too. I don't know what happened to turn her this way, but what I think it's what must be done." She then looked back up at her leader. "But how are you feeling?"

Dawnkit stood out side of the Medicine den looking at Nightkit, "Are you okay?" She looked around, "Woah! This place is so cool! I wonder where Twanyfur is?"
