A day in camp

Dawnlight sat around in the camp doing nothing. She had no idea what to do. They had plenty of herbs, she would like to see Happy again, but he hasn't come close to the Shdowclan border in a while. She would hunt but they already have to much prey, and Medicine Cats don't really go on border patrols. They haven't any good patrols in a while, ever since Greyfeather died they were left with one warrior that kept disappearing but when he came back he only smelled like Shadowclan like he didn't go any where. She gave a hefty sigh and jumped onto a small rock, to sun herself.

Sagewhisker padded into the center of the camp, flashing Dawnlight a suspecious look before headed over to the fresh kill pile and grabbing himself a small frog. He walked over to the warriors den and quietly started to eat his meal, a lot on his mind.

"What's with the look?" Dawnlight asked without looking at him. She looked like she was half-asleep but she wasn't.

"I was just thinking about that rogue." Sagewhisker meowed. "He said that he had gone to see someone, and you were awfully close by." The tom mused, "Plus, he's awful familiar."

"Well, I was picking herbs, also he does smell kinda familiar. Oh Yeah I scented a rouge near the Skyclan earlier today." Dawnlight mewed.

Sagewhisker flicked an ear. "The same one?"

"No... It smelled slightly different, but it was kinda stale." She commented sitting up.

Sagewhisker sniffed and took another bite of his prey, unable to hold back a small sniff of annoyance. "Scarletfire is still out there." He glanced back up at Dawnlight, his comment bland.

"I know she is..." Dawnlight mewed sadly looked away, and lying back down again.

"You didn't see the resemblance?" He asked then took another bite of his frog.

"What?" Dawnlight asked looking at him questionably.

"The rogue." Sagewhisker repeated, not even bothering to look at the medicine cat. "Doesn't he look like someone we used to know?"

"I wouldn't know. I haven't seen him. Tell me what does he look like?" Dawnlight asked.
