It was raining, not that Ravenpaw minded. In fact it didn't really bother him in the slightest considering he was out in camp, laying on his back, water drops completely soaking the fur on his stomach. The rain was a nice cool contrast to the warm air that had filled the day just a couple hours before. It did wonders for his hot black fur.
The tom shifted in his spot, rolling over so his back was now the one taking in the steady drops of rain. His yellow eyes on focused until he saw a blurred object in front of him. Slowly the object came into focus causing the tom to let out a quiet. "Oooo..." As he noticed the smooth small rock sitting in front of him. The tom reached out a paw and scooted the object of his interest closer, before tucking it back under himself. His yellow eyes remaining locked onto the smooth rock in front of him.

Willowpaw did not like rain when she was a kit. It was cold, even when it felt nice against the hot greenleaf air, and it ruined her fur. Now that she was an apprentice, she did not mind it as much. She got wet often, after all, and so had grown used to some of her wispier parts of her fur losing its volume in return for the sleekness that matched her mother. Willowpaw still did not spend much time out in the rain on most occasions, but she made an exception for today. She returned from a quick patrol and was already soaked, and so thought she may as well enjoy the rain while it was still out.
Her eyes landed on a black tom admiring a rock. She had not spoken with him, though she was pretty sure she recalled his name…Ravenpaw. She remembered watching his apprentice ceremony; it was a rare one that her mother performed instead of Auntie Poppy.
She approached. “Hello,” she mewed. “I hope you do not mind the company…that is a pretty rock you have.”

Ravenpaw perked up at the sound of another cat speaking to him, one of his paws that was previously tucked, had reached out to be placed somewhat near the pretty rock he had found. He wasn't going to risk anyone taking it, after all it was his now. "Company 's fine." The black tom stated looking up at the pretty she-cat. Willowpaw.. He had heard her name in passing before, kind of hard not to when they shared a den. When she mentioned his rock he turned back to it. "Yeah its a good one to add to my collection." His collection at the moment was small, only the finest would be added, not to mention Owlcall only let him keep a couple as to not crowd the den.
"What about you? Do you like to collect things?" He asked, yellow eyes looking back up at the she-cat, hoping that she did.

Willowpaw tilted her head as she met Ravenpaw’s gaze. “Collect?” she repeated. “I can’t say I do.” She knows that there are many cats who collect little trinkets here and there to keep in their nest. She knew her mother kept a couple keepsakes in the leader’s den as well. “Rocks seem like a good item to keep, though. Do you have other pretty ones like those in your collection?”
