Caught off-guard by the sudden attack, Bean spun to see the tom that Pepper had been fighting. He was wounded, he could see that easily, but where was Pepper? In a panic, they spun around, searching for her. Surely he had run from the fight, like a coward. The only other option was.... As their eyes fell on the limp form of their sister, they let out a cry of grief and rage. Spinning back to the tom, they hissed. "You killed her, didn't you? She never killed any of you, yet you killed her. Who's the real murderers here?" They growled, wincing as they felt their own wounds. They couldn't keep up like this for long... Especially now that there were two on them. Focusing back on the white tom, Bean lashed out with a paw.

She had jumped too early, and Pea shook her off rather easily. However, the deputy wasn't just going to give her time to prepare for the next attack, spinning on her front paws and lunging forward to snap at the she-cat's side.

Although she had been determined to charge forward and fend off these brutes under Vea's command, a dark-furred brute leaped at her first. Donuts small stature made her nimble, but when pinned, struggling was much more futile. Burningwing was on top of her in an instant and the little she-cat responded with a barrage of snarls. Her ears perked as he spoke, twitching slightly. Being able to win the prize for her leader, gaining favor, it was appealing... but only for a moment. What had briefly stilled her frame with contemplation vanished and she thrashed about, "Let me up, you stupid rat, I know better than to trust the words of a Shadowclan cat!" Besides, if it was the wrong call, Vea would have her ears, and she did not want to risk that.

Donuts is pinned by the evil Shadowclan man and will not be able to move until next turn.

The battle broke out, cats from all sides surging forward. Dunkin stood there, stupid grin plastered to his face - a challenger would come to him. And they did, in the form of a dark-furred young tom. Claws slashed at his pelt, little more than a far away sting. In response, the hefty rogue moved in a surprisingly quick manner as he twisted and leaped, seeking to pin his opponent to the ground. It was a lot easier to beat his paws into an enemy's pelt when they couldn't move.

He just barely managed to get a decent grasp, pressing heavy paw pads down on the shoulders of Webshadow and forcing them into the filthy earth. The casual grin of Dunkin looked far more menacing in a position where he was leering down at his foe. Ever the cat for conversation, the dusty tabby meowed, "Yer a feisty little thing, huh? Makes the battle all the more exciting! I hope you can enjoy this as much as I do!"

Dunkin used leap and hold on Webshadow, dealing 10 damage and using 15 stamina. Webshadow is pinned for 1 turn.

The yowl of attack rung through his ears. The tabby snapped his head towards the sight of Flintstar tackling the head rouge. Other tussles broke out amongst the rouges and warriors while his brain started registering the fact it was battle time. He twisted his head around again, searching for a nearby cat. There, a she-cat with yellow eyes similar to his own. Loudnose jumped at her, as he had been taught, gripping her shoulders with eager claws. With his momentum he managed to bring the rouge down, twisting on top to pin her. He snapped at her muzzle, trying to keep his opponent in place.

The warrior wasn't entirely sure why he had to fight her, but he saw how desperate his family (including Flintstar) were to rescue Batglow, his mentor made it clear how important this was to them. For them, Batglow was more than a friend or clanmate, he was family, which made him Loudnose's family. Perhaps that was the reason impatient electricity was pulsing through his paws.

He kept biting at the she-cat, figuring the plan was to distract the rouges long enough for someone to sneak Batglow out. Then they could go home and celebrate, which he wanted deeply.

Flintstar reared backwards as Vea snapped at him, wincing as the teeth dug into his shoulder before he wrenched himself free and raised a paw - slamming it into the side of Vea's head with a growl. He was going to make her pay for all of the pain she had brought upon his Clan. His fur prickled, staring in almost disbelief at the fact that she had been born into ShadowClan. What had happened to her? ...No, there was nothing that had 'happened' to her. With her as vile as she is...The leader could only assume that she had always only cared for herself - ShadowClan was lucky that she had shown herself out those many moons ago...And they would be more lucky now when he got rid of her for good.

As the ShadowClan cats descended onto the members of her group, a spark of hope flared in Namid's chest. She...She might actually get out of here! If everybody else was distracted, they wouldn't notice she was gone - even if Vea did win...Well, she would be far enough away that her cowardly escape wouldn't matter! She started to turn, ready to make her mad dash - only for the sound of footsteps growing louder caused that hope to sputter out.

She opened her mouth to spit out a curse but only a surprised screech escaped her as paws suddenly landed on her back, sending her crashing to the ground. A startled hiss escaped her as she scrambled, claws digging into the ground as she tried to wiggle herself free - to panic to think straight as her tail lashed back and forth. "N-No! Let me go! Let me go, you big dumb brute!" she yowled, head whipping back and forth as if her violent rocking would actually manage to dislodge the tom from her back.

The rogue recovered far quicker than Webshadow expected, and he crashed to the ground with a strangled hiss. He thrashed about, trying to swipe out at Dunkin, but he found his shoulder being ground further into the dirt. That leering look almost made the warrior quail, but he held his own, curling his lip to snarl, "Get off me, you mouse-brained piece of crowfood! I'm here for my father, and I'm here for Batglow. I'm not here to have fun."

Vea let out a growl herself as soon as she was hit by the leader once again. She didn't understand how Shadowclan stayed together under him. He wasn't a good leader. If she had been in his spot, she wouldn't have even let Rogues onto her land, let alone tolerate them for as long as he did. Well it didn't really matter. Her plan had worked for the most part. She just needed to chase these cats off so they could leave, with her son by her side. She leapt forward tackling the large tom to the ground trying to pin him.

Pea didn't know what to say. Didn't even know what to think in this situation. She wanted to speak, to make peace with this moment, to right her wrong but no matter what she did.. She felt it would never be right. She couldn't give up the fight because if she did then Vea would kick her out, she wouldn't have a home. She wouldn't have the support the rogues provided. "I'm sorry!" She loved Batglow.. but she needed to care for herself!

The two brothers rolled on the ground, each one trying to pin the other. To get in any damage they could with every opening the other presented. No words had to be spoken between them, the hatred in their eyes told them everything they needed to know. The black tom snapped his long fangs into the others shoulder while the brown tom dug his claws in, trying to draw as much blood as he could.

Flintstar let out a soft growl of annoyance that Vea managed to find her way to her paws, getting ready to swipe out at her when she made a leap at him. His eyes narrowed as she managed to perch herself on him, the tom swinging his head to glare at her as she stood just out of reach. Annoying...But it was something he could handle. He dropped into a crouch, throwing all of his weight to his side as he tried to dislodge her so he could continue to pummel her.

Flintstar used Duck and Twist on Vea, attempting to break the grapple and succeeded - costing 5 stamina and dealing 5 damage. Flintstar is no longer pinned.

Donuts hissed back at him and he only stared at the rogue she-cat with disappointment. Surprise? Not at all. Darkness closed in around the battlefield, as if the she-cat's refusal had brought upon the wrath of Shadowclan's ancestors themselves. Night descended, cast the world in grays and blues and Burningwing's piercing yellow eyes lit up in the darkness like literal fire in his skull. "Well... you are only stupid savages after all..." He growled at her, right before he struck his teeth straight for the spot where her jugular lie. He never missed his mark, like a sniper, but his jaw strength wasn't quite enough to immediately tear through the flesh and muscle that guarded the life blood of his enemy. Nothing a bit of chewing away at it wouldn't fix, however. Burningwing had made his intention to the she-cat known now... there was no going back. There would be no mercy now.
