Murkystrike turned to survey the battle as Pea fled like the coward she was, feeling a moment of panic as she saw how few cats were still standing. Of the rogues, she spotted a couple unfamiliar bodies, along with one that was still standing and fighting, locked in combat with Burningwing while Batglow stood to the side watching. Her tail twitched, uncertain of what had happened - with how Batglow jumped into the fight, she was certain that he wouldn't have stopped fighting for no reason... Her gaze continued, looking quickly over her son, relief flooding her as she saw him standing. It was replaced by panic when she realized she hadn't seen Mistyfalcon among the standing. A yowl from nearby though caught her attention before she could look to hard, and she noticed Flintstar, blood pouring from the scar on his leg - it appeared to have been reopened. She didn't like the way it hanged limply underneath him... It didn't look good. Following his gaze quickly, she saw Vea motionless on the ground. The battle was over, this final rogue was all that was left. With Flintstar injured... "Batglow, Loudnose, and Shira, help our injured back to camp. Burningwing and I will finish this one. Get a patrol of three warriors to meet me here. I'll give them their orders when they arrive. Stay in camp and let Basilpaw patch you up. Flintstar, you go too. Your leg looks bad, Loudnose can help you if you need." She ordered, pressing herself against Batglow briefly as she passed him. "I can't find Mistyfalcon. Please find him, Bat. Please. I'll see you soon." She whispered before launching herself towards the rogue.
Chard noted the lack of further involvement from Fang, and his hope rose. Suddenly though, an attack from behind wrenched his teeth in the other tom's scruff as he struggled to maintain his grip. As he regained his balance, he saw Vea's still body on the ground. His eyes widened, fear flashing in them. Was she dead? No, she couldn't be. He had to get her away from here... But how?
Murkystrike used Jumping Strike on Chard, dealing 9 (+3 unfocused, +1 Night Finesse) damage for 7 SP. Chard maintained Teeth Grip, dealing 7 damage for 15 SP.
Burningwing noticed that the Rogue Son hadn't jumped back in. Well... at least he could follow orders. Burningwing would not acknowledge his abilities any further than that. Before he could focus too much longer ON simply chewing through Chard's neck until he hit something vital, the rogue was yanked off of his scruff and out of Burningwing's teeth. A flash of fury had the dark tom's blood boiling, but he said nothing to Murkystrike. She at least was pure Shadowclan. His victory wouldn't be as tainted as it could have been if he'd accepted Rogue Son's help. He still didn't have to be thrilled though.
"Hardly worth the effort with two of us..." He muttered, but charged back into the fray regardless. He noted the rogue was looking at his fallen companion with a flash of panic in his eyes. Oh you're not going anywhere. His claws struck out, aiming for the soft tendons in the tom's hind legs in an attempt to damage them enough that he couldn't run.
Burningwing used Front Paw Strike, dealing 10 damage (+1 night finesse) and -7SP
Burningwing No longer teeth gripped after this post 19HP / 53SP (-7SP)
He hadn't expected her to actually leave... that means he was intimidating in some way right? Loudnose watched her turn tail, half considering a chase. I won! All by myself! he thought with a purr. The tabby looked around, his focus no longer on battle. It didn't seem like the fight was over, but the rouge boss was on the ground. We are done then? Loudnose saw his mother and went closer to her. Nodding at her orders he then approached Flintstar, seeking to help him. "So the fight is practically over right? And we won!" Even if the leader didn't need help with his leg, Loudnose would be happy to accompany him on the walk home.
Batglow stared at the fight that was occurring in front of him. Almost tempted to help Chard out but he couldn't do that. He didn't like Burningwing's tone, he didn't know what the tom had against him but whatever it was, wasn't good.
His attention was stolen from the fight as soon as Murkystrike approached him, pressing into his side. Mistyfalcon wasn't around? Where was his friend? Yellow green eyes started frantically searching the clearing for the other tom, before spotting him along the edge. Batglow padded over to the other tom, nudging him to his feet. "Come on, let's get back to camp. Murky has this." He pressed his side into Misty's to support the tom on the way back.

Mistyfalcon had managed to drag himself off to the side, keeping out of the fighting as best he could now that he was too injured to continue. Murkystrike's voice had the tom lifting his head, struggling to his paws with a grunt.
...Yeah, the rogues had got him good. At least he'd helped kill two of them.
Flintstar had fallen, he thought, but then surged forward to kill Vea, though even from a distance Mistyfalcon could tell that something was wrong, very wrong. Mistyfalcon only regretted that it wasn't him to deal the killing blow. That rogue that had ambushed him had done a number on quite a few of their clanmates, it looked like... And was now fighting Murkystrike and Burningwing.
Batglow appeared at his side, and Mistyfalcon grimaced, eyes narrowing at his words. "Let's hope so." He muttered, wincing. The claws to the belly and side had hurt, and bled a fair bit. It was clear he wasn't going to be of much use, as much as he would have rather joined Murkystrike in fighting off that last rogue. He'd have to trust that Murkystrike and Burningwing would be able to handle it. They were both injured, but maybe there was a chance.
With a hiss, Mistyfalcon limped after Batglow, not at all pleased by the amount he needed to lean on his friend in doing so. He'd been right earlier it looked like, poor Basilpaw was going to have her paws full.
Frostgaze had been attempting to gain the strength to rejoin the battle since he had gone down. His ear perked up when he heard Flintstar's roar, and only watched as the scene unfolded. The battle had finally been won. Flintstar seemed to have lost a life... and his leg looked bad. At least Vea was dead, and the rogues would likely not trouble Shadowclan again. With a heave, Frostgaze finally got to his paws as Murkystrike gave orders. He may be injured, but he wasn't useless. He leaned down slowly, trying not to stretch any of his wounds, and gently grabbed Webshadow's scruff, trying to help him to his paws as well. "Are you alright Webshadow? We should try to find Shira and get back to camp." His head turned to the one ongoing battle for a moment, and figured that the combatants would be fine. He finally started scanning the clearing for Shira, waiting for Webshadow to be ready.

Flintstar stood ridged as he watched where Vea had fallen, breath coming in heavies as he waited for her to move - to twitch even the slightest so he could sink his claws into her... But she never did. She was dead. He blinked as he heard his deputy's voice rise up, glancing over to see that a single rogue remained - the two forces had done quite the number on each other thought, seeing his wounded warriors scattered about. He huffed as he realized that Murkystrike had ordered him back to camp but...He didn't quite have the strength to rebuff it. His eyes fell down to his leg, shifting his weight around his good ones - watching as the injured one swayed under its own force... Nothing he was telling it to do was reaching it.
...That...Wasn't good. His gaze darkened before his ears perked at the sound of pawsteps and turned to see his old apprentice approaching, a smile on his face even if he did bare a few wounds. The battle was pretty much over. He was standing, Batglow would return home...Vea was dead. They had won, but he couldn't tell what the cost was yet. "...Indeed," he rasped, turning as he motioned with his tail for his other Clanmates to gather with him. He limped forward, weight awkwardly spread across his three good paws as he did his best to keep his unmoving leg from dragging - pausing as he reached the exit of the clearing, glancing back at where Murkystrike and Burningwing were fighting.
...He didn't feel comfortable leaving them behind, even if he was sure that the two could handle it. So, he stood there, simply...Waiting for the rest of his scattered Clanmates to reach him. He at least wanted to have a head count of everybody before they started the trek back.
Murkystrike glanced at Burningwing as he muttered. "Perhaps not." She mewed, waiting for an opening and spotting one as the rogue stumbled from Burningwing's attack. Lashing out at his throat, she stood as his body hit the ground unmoving. Meeting Burningwing's gaze, she shrugged. "Helps the battle go faster though, and results in less injuries. We have too many on our paws already." Flicking the blood off of her paw, she turned to see Flintstar among the others, waiting to head back to camp. She blinked slowly as she observed the way he held his paw carefully above the ground, but didn't seem to be able to do much more. Loudnose was at his side, which she was relieved to see. Batglow had found Mistyfalcon, and she relaxed more as she motioned for Burningwing to follow as they joined back with the group. "When we get back to camp, I'll have a patrol come and scout the area, make sure there aren't any more hiding around somewhere." She mewed, glancing back at the clearing that had been their battlefield. They had won, but it had been close.
Murkystrike used Front Paw Strike, dealing 11 (+1 Night Finesse) damage for 7 SP. Burningwing No longer teeth gripped after this post 19 HP / 53 SP
Murkystrike at least was smart enough to kill the rogue rather than just injure and let him go. Satisfied with the work they've done, Burningwing turned away from the battlefield and set his eyes on those who might need help. Mistyfalcon was already being assisted by Batglow... though Burningwing's ears rotated back. He didn't quite plaster them to the back of his head like he would in a fight, but the body language was far from friendly.
We missed one... He'd have a plan to get rid of Rogue Son later, along with all of the other abominations in Shadowclan. He turned away and began to head home. He'd give Frostgaze a ration of mousedung later about falling in battle, but for now, he was tired and wanted to rest and heal.
