Flintstar grimaced as teeth sank into his scruff, Vea doing her best to shake him. As she let go, he stumbled a little as he tried to shake his head. Cowardly rogue... He managed to turn his head to her, giving her a hiss as he struggled to recollect himself and continue this battle.

This was her chance! She wasn't going to let it slip by like she had before. She steady herself before rearing up on her hind paws and slamming her front paws down hard on the tom's head, her eyes scanning over him looking for her next opening after her attack.

Flintstar's legs buckled as Vea returned the favor - bringing her own paws down on him. He grumbled and hissed as he stumbled backwards, finally shaking his head free of the daze - even if he did have an annoying ringing in his ears now - and made a leap towards Vea. With his heavy paws, he rammed into the she-cat and brought her to the ground, using his larger size to pin her as he hissed at her - having nothing to say to her. They both knew that this was going to end one in one of their deaths...

At least Flintstar had lives to spare if things went badly. But Vea...?

He could take comfort in knowing that she would never rise again - even if it would perhaps cost him a life.

Vea growled out as she was pinned under the large leader. She couldn't remain pinned if she wanted to chase this tom out. She squirmed a little, before ducking down trying to pull herself free, but no matter how much energy she expended she could free herself from his grasp.

Ah, finally...Vea was squirming in the dirt like the rat that she was. Flintstar's claws dug into her as raised up a paw, slicing down her back before he retreated to the left, freeing her as he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Surrender, Vea, and I'll make your end a quick one," he growled as he started to prowl around her, tail lashing back and forth. They were both tired, they were worn... They both couldn't take much more - but Flintstar was starting to feel confident of which direction this fight would go...

Flintstar used Front Paw Strike on Vea, dealing 12 damage and costing 7 stamina.

Surrender? Never. She wouldn't. If she was going down. She would take him with her. "Never! I will make sure you die before then!" With what little strength she had left she reared back on her hind paws and slammed her them down on his head. She watched as he collapsed to the ground, her chest heaving as she watched for a second waiting for him to move back at her, but she didn't want him to get that chance, not noticing in her anger the leader wasn't getting back up in the first place. She brought a single paw sharp with claws down on the leg that carried a nasty scar. Even if she died here, she would make sure he never moved again.

Flintstar grimmaced as Vea spat back his one offer of 'mercy' at him, before his eyes widen as she lundged forwards. He tried to step back but the heavy paws came down quick - his legs gave out beneath him and his chin hit the ground with a heavy thump. His head was swimming, darkness clawing quickly at his vision, at his mind. He was slipping away and he realized quickly that he was dying - she had done...Something. It was hard to think, he couldn't think...

And so the darkness overcame him.

For a heartbeat, there was nothing...Then a gentle breeze brushing past him. He opened his eyes to find a star-lit field out in front of him as he sat there. "...Ah," he meowed dryly, quickly realizing where he was. StarClan. He was losing a life. It was...Annoying, but he still had plenty. It wouldn't take long for him to return to the battle and end Vea once and for all. The silence, the break from the stress of battle was...Nice.

"Flintstar."

A voice spoke up behind him, causing him to straighten up as he turned to see a somewhat familar brown she-cat - hints of black mixed within as she met his gaze. "...Bearmask, was it?" he meowed, recalling her from his leader ceremony. She had been...A ShadowClan cat once, long ago. A deputy, even, if he recalled correctly. He was surprised to see her here - at least, talking to him. He had never known her in life after all, there were other StarClan cats he would rather catch up with.

She dipped her head, a small smile curling at the edge of her visions. "Indeed, I'm happy you remember me. I simply wanted to speak to you - you won't be here for long thought," she meowed. Flintstar titled his head, simply fixing the StarClan cat with a look as she continued on. "It not a warning or anything, its just..." There was a pause, an awkward one before her expression dropped a little. "I want to apologize, Flintstar. We can't... We can't fix what has been done, only heal what has killed you."

The leader frowned sharply at that, taking in a breath to make a reply - what was she apologizing about? But the simple breath suddenly became real, painful... And he awoke on the ground, the sound of battle still around him. He hissed underneath his breath at the pain that rocked his body, but it was nothing he had felt before. His shoulder was on fire, was his scar acting up? ...It didn't matter, he had to finish this. He pulled his paws beneath him and started to push upright before he stumbled suddenly to the side.

...Something wasn't right.

He glanced down at his right leg, at the fresh blood that raced down around his scarred. It was...Reopened. It felt deeper, it hurt. Despite his attempt to move it beneath him, it wasn't moving. ...It wasn't moving. A sharp hiss escaped him as he forced himself upright with his other legs, his injuried one hanging limply. He managed to shift the shoulder itself - raising the paw so it wasn't dragging before his eyes fell onto the she-cat who had done it.

"What have you done," he growled as he took a limping step forward...Before he launched himself fully at her. Even with his current un-working leg, he managed to get around her and sink his teeth into her scruff, yanking her from her paws. He shook her as hard as he could - in truth, hoping he would break her neck with the force before he pivoted on his good leg and threw her as far as he could - eyes burning as he tracked her fall to see if that would kill her once and for all or if he would have to truly dirty his claws...

Claws cut through his fur, hitting the side of his head. It stung of course, but much more than Loudnose had expected. He hissed back in defiance, trying to hold back tears of exhaustion and pain. "Stop it! Stop it just- be nice!" he shouted, lunging a paw at her neck. The tabby felt terrible, he didn't want to be here anymore. He was tired, angry, bleeding, and to be honest, a bit scared. "Go away!"

Loudnose used Front Paw Strike, dealing 9 damage (8 + 1 Night Finesse) and costing 7 stamina.

Namid let out a hiss of enjoyment as the tom started to plea with her even if she had to barely dodge his angry blow at her. Oh, she hated when a battle was on her side but this tom, he was...He was just a big old kit! She started to prowl forward, but then there was a flash of fur in her vision that caused her to stop - seeing Vea getting thrown by the large ShadowClan leader who looked enraged like she had never seen. ...Okay, maybe...Ah, maybe this tom had a point. She started to backtrack nervously, suddenly realizing that there really was no point to remain if Vea was down for the count. She couldn't tell if she was alive or not but...She was pretty sure that tom - Flintstar? - wasn't going to let Vea live.

...Yeah, it was better to cut and run. She spun on her paws, breaking toward the escape route she had aimed for. She felt herself trip on something, panic gripping her heart at the thought that she may not escape but she managed to catch herself. With all of the energy she had, she threw herself as hard as she could forward - disappearing from view as Namid, the coward she was, decided to live another day.

Far away from the Clan's territories of course, thought. She had learned her lesson from sticking around these brutes.

Namid used Dodge-and-Flee, negating the last attack (+9 HP). Namid attempted to flee and succeeded, costing 121 stamina.

Burningwing wasn't about to respond to the rogue. They were mindless, lowly creatures that didn't deserve any sort acknowledgement when they spoke. Batglow came in from... basically out of left field and Burningwing felt a flash of fury. "I CAN DO THIS MYSELF YOU-" Teeth. Teeth in his scruff. Burningwing whirled on his opponent, now refocused. His scruff was stretchy, as while he was a fairly fit cat, he was a healthy one too. That meant he had layers of fat necessary for survival, and his scruff was as stretchy as it needed to be for him to angle his teeth... right at his foolish adversary's exposed throat.

His teeth buried deep and blood flooded Burningwing's mouth. He scissored his teeth away at the flesh that protected Chard's jugular with every intention in the world of cutting his life line.

You don't want to let go? Good! I'll chew my way through your worthless neck! Burningwing thought, his eyes ablaze with sulfuric rage.

Vea had a smug look on her face as she watched the leader fall. His body motionless and still for a moment. Maybe now he would know to leave her alone, but it all changed as soon as he awoke. He roared at her for the injury she had caused, the tom grabbing her before throwing her across the clearing. Her body colliding with a solid object, her head making a sickening crack against it. The calico she-cat fell to the ground, her body still. No movement could be seen from the rogue leader. She was dead.

Batglow stepped back as soon as his clan mate had yelled at him. What? Yellow green eyes narrowed. He could handle this? Fine. The lanky black tom stayed where he was not making a single move towards the rogue. If Burningwing wanted to test him today, he would get it.

Batglow did not make an attack.
