Wolfpaw’s Moonstone Journey

He slowly smiled "I'm just worried... The war and lots of deaths and everything.." he meowed quietly.

She went up to him so he could feel her presence. "well the deaths are for a reason." she said to him sweetly.

”B-b-but.. For what reason?” he meowed quietly.

She looked at him. "it could be from many reasons. Just remeber why you fight. I love you." she said and with that faded into the stars making wolfpaw wake up.

He woke up with tears in his eyes "I will make the clan and you proud.. I promise Darkpaw" he wisperd and turned around "I-I'm r-ready to go Jaystream" he meowed and started walking towards the tunnels.

Jaystream, who wasn't capable to sleep like other times, noticed that Wolfpaw was crying when he woke up. He barely listened Darkpaw's name coming out of his muzzle. The warrior stood and gave Wolfpaw an encouraging smile. "Congratulations, Wolfpaw. You're ready to become a Riverclan warrior. I'm sure that your friend will be happy for you." He mewed referring to the dead she-cat as he made his way to the tunnel. Everybody in the clan knew that they were close friends and the deputy was glad that the apprentice got the chance to speak to her one last time before becoming a warrior.

Wolfpaw followed his deputy out of the dark tunnels of Mothermouth. When they got out he followed closly after Jaystream 'I should be happy.. but I'm not.. I'm gonna become a warrior but.. It's not the same without Darkpaw there..' he thought sadly.
