The Hour of Justice [RC + WC BATTLE TOPIC]

Squirrelpaw let out a slightly gurgled hiss as she hit the ground, stunned. She was on her back, looking up at the sky. For a moment, the pale brown tabby forgot what was happening and stared up at the sky. It's a nice day, was the first thing that came to the young apprentice's mind. I hope Shellwater will take me out to do swimming. I like when we do that.
Then the sour tang of blood hit the roof of her mouth and she struggled to her paws, mind reeling. Everywhere around her, there was spitting, hissing, blood, blood, blood.
For a heartbeat, all she could do was stare at the apprentice before her, mind spinning. It wasn't fair. She hadn't learned how to fight out here. She'd barely learned how to fight at all.
Then Squirrelpaw saw her mother fighting fiercely, and, with the fire back in her blood again, her leapt for the she, biting down as hard as she could on the soft flesh of her opponent's tail, then jerking away wildly to knock her off balance.

Squirrelpaw used Tail Yank on Brindlepaw dealing 2 damage, -10 Sp, stunning Brindlepaw for one turn.

All the previous flashes of guilt or uncertainty Brindlepaw felt vanished the moment the Riverclan apprentice's teeth tore into the flesh and muscle of her tail, the pain raced up her spine and made even her whiskers ache. Desperately jerking and twisting as she attempted to free her tail, Brindlepaw ignored how the pain flared and burned with each movement. Finally tugging herself free- although she left a good portion of fur and blood in the other she-cat's mouth, Brindlepaw tumbled forward with a pained wail and collapsed ungracefully on her side, her flank twitching in pain as she tried in vain to recover from her daze.

Smokeface whipdd his head around for someone to attack as his senses went elite in the midst of battle. He managed to find a cat and slid around it, an apprentice, which he aquired as Hazepaw. He appreciated the option of mauling an apprentice of WindClan himself. He slid by him, smiling smugly as his claws tore at the youngsters belly and he sprang up to find himself behind Hazepaw, baring his teeth.

Lionfur growled as the she-cat's claws struck his golden-furred chest. To retaliate, he bit down hard on her scruff, teeth sinking into her flesh and locking together, and struck her a quick blow across the muzzle, as Spiderfur had taught him, before she could act.

Shellwater turned around to see a black WindClan she-cat standing and doing nothing. She had seen her with the golden tom who had ruined her forever- were they mates? Who could be a mate with that monster?! She rushed at the she-cat, snarling angrily, and tackled her to the ground.

It had all happened so fast. One moment Spiderfur was preparing to leave on a patrol, the next Riverclan was at their doorstep. Spiderfur watched helplessly as the situation escalated into a bloody battle. A faint memory of when she was but a young kit flashed in her mind's eye, a moment long ago. Dogs tore their way through camp, killing and maiming cats left and right, including her own mother, Leafsnap. The little warrior stood stock still, overtaken with panic. A million possibilities made themselves known. And here came a dog now, barreling towards her. Wait, that was the Riverclan deputy! The impact left her sprawling in the sand.

Once her eyes opened she could feel teeth at her scruff, but her head was so muddled that she couldn't move. Her vision focused and unfocused wildly, enough so that she could only see her father fighting against a younger Riverclan tom. The dust-brown she-cat tried in vain to stand. Her paws twitched, but did nothing more than that. She was helpless.

Fogheart stood where her clanmates had once surrounded her on all sides, left alone. Where was the fight? The blind warrior frowned, confused by the constant noise around her, waiting for some hint as to what to do. She took a deep breath and listened hard. Past the wails of pain, the rip of fur, the yowls of triumph, she could hear someone else. A warrior not quite yet in the fight. Her thin, wispy fur rose quickly, leaving her form blurred, almost ghost-like. Fogheart charged toward the faint breaths and paw shifts that gave her enemy away. Her paws extended, claws unsheathed almost to the point of popping out, and bowled over the warrior.

Fogheart used Run-and-Tackle on Pantherlily, dealing 16 damage and using 10 stamina. (3 added because Pantherlily was not focused on her)

Fracturedhawk spun around, the roars of battle kept him distracted, the reasoning as to why he failed to see Smokepelt coming towards him.

The deputy's blow took him by surprise, and the young warrior was sent sprawling to the side. He quickly got to his paws, putting space between him and the WindClan cat so he could catch his breath. Seeing his chance, Fracturedhawk bounded closer to his opponent, but instead of flat out tackling him, he paused, reared up, and struck Smokepelt with his fore paws.

Fracturedhawk used rear-up to slash, causing 11 damage and costing 15 stamina.

Hazepaw was shocked by the scene before her, she had been watching on the sidelines for a while as the leaders bickered, until suddenly she felt a tearing pain on her underbelly. She shrieked in surprise, and turned to face her attacker, a sudden battle-ready instinct kicking in.

She bared her teeth in return to the older warrior, and took the opportunity to attack him back. She sprinted toward him, using all the strength she could muster to ram herself into his side, tackling him to the ground.

Hazepaw used run and tackle, causing 6 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Being knocked back by his opponent, Smokepelt skidded against the dusty earth. He'd finish these fish brained scum, every last one of them! Breathing heavily, the tom leaped to his opponent and jumped on the younger cat's back. After raking his unsheathed down the cat's side, he dug his claws into the warrior's side, using all his strength and to balance on Fracturedhawk's back.

Smokeface hissed at the apprentice as he got up from the tackle, narrowing his eyes acidly at his opponent. Did that apprentice consider he had a chance, while he was so determined to avenged the two RiverClan cats that had almost died to this clan's abuse? The warrior darted up to the she-cat, slashing his claw across her face with a furious growl, e joyed the fresh blood on his claws.
