Plague is the Least of your Worries [BATTLE TOPIC]

The snow was disgusting. The rain turned it to slush that mixed with the marsh hidden underneath. The battle-scarred she cat looked down at it, a look of contempt on her muzzle. Clouds spattered rain onto the ground and covered the mid-day sun, resulting in a gloomy and lifeless day. Such a fitting atmosphere for the coming slaughter. All scents were washed away by the downpour and the time of day ensured that no patrols would stumble upon the massive troop of warriors prepared for battle, much less be awake to even know of them. Dewstar looked to her WindClan companion with a serious expression on her face. "Our scents are washed away by the rain and the fleabags are asleep in their dens. We will have much time to gather our warriors and prepare for the attack, unseen and unnoticed."

Standing next to Dewstar, Falconstar nodded grimly. An attack of this scale was inevitable, but the WindClan leader hadn't expected that he would be allied with the seemingly power-hungry leader of ThunderClan. Still, there was a greater enemy out there. He was aware of the apprentice who had gone missing, her scent having led to Fourtrees and then vanished, though a lingering scent of sickness had rested upon the ground before the weather had washed it away. If ShadowClan had hurt her… Sheathing and unsheathing his claws from the ground, he steeled his gaze forward. "It's about time that they paid for all the suffering they've been bringing upon the forest. My clan is ready."

Behind him, Eaglethorn was indeed one of the classmates more than ready to fight the scum of ShadowClan. Unlike others, he was more than eager to go to war and tear apart their disgusting fur beneath his sharp claws. Finally justice would be served.

Spottedflight took her position behind Dewstar, flicking her whiskers and tail as her old energy returned. There were cats here that had killed her clanmates, and she wanted nothing less than to rip her claws through their pelts. How much longer will we have to wait? she thought, shuffling her paws.

Meanwhile, Flamegaze was further back in the group, and not quite as excited. The ginger tom gave his chest fur a few licks for something to do. Sure, he wanted to defend his clan, but this would be his first battle since becoming a warrior. And the nerves were getting to him.

Nightpaw was standing close to Dewstar.
"Dewstar, I am joining, to prove I am fit for a warrior," Nightpaw looked at her leader. Her elegant black fur glistening in the slight gleam of the heavy clouds. She wanted to help her clan.

Stormblaze, the new thunderclan warrior, stood among Thunderclan. His eyes were vicious and slit.

Addertail stood a few feet behind Dewstar, claws flexing in and out, ready for battle. This would be a huge battle, with Shadowclan going against all of them. They didn't stand a chance, and it was about time they paid for their wrongdoings. However, he was faintly worried about how Shadowclan seemed to be tainted with sickness, and if any blood got in their mouth or even on their fur too much, they could get sick as well. Luckily, so far the sickness hadn't seemed deadly...The cats that went to the gathering didn't seem that bad off; just coughing a lot.

IC: Reedstar stood not far away, surrounded by RiverClan warriors. Wet and heavy snowflakes dusted the marsh that seemed to stretch forever, the coating of slush on the ground stifling their scents and softening their pawsteps. ShadowClan would be caught unaware and asleep, by a force composed of three different Clans. It would not be a battle so much as a slaughter. He would not be content with ShadowClan cats just left licking their wounds. No, Reedstar would see them driven before them, their horrid bog of a camp dismantled, their prey and herbs taken. And it will still be more mercy than what they showed Hailwhisper. ShadowClan's crimes had went unpunished long enough. How might they feel if their territory was taken and divvied up, as SkyClan's once was?

He unsheathed his claws and gazed over at his two allies. It was strange to see himself fighting beside Dewstar, but not surprising if even half of what Spottedfeather had reported was true. According to the talk around WindClan, ShadowClan had abducted an apprentice. Fools. Murderous fools. Nightstar had driven her Clan to sure destruction. They were now more isolated than ever before, and outnumbered three-to-one. And if Reedstar had his way, they'd be eradicated before night fell.

Even still, his mind drifted to the two kits from that rainy day. He didn't even know their names. Did they even live? ShadowClan was truly evil and cold. They probably just killed them, like they killed Hailwhisper and the ThunderClan cat and probably that WindClan apprentice as well. I should have brought them to where they belonged. Reedstar lamented to himself. I should have brought them to RiverClan. They would have learned honor there... Nobody could have guessed their identities. I could have said that they were mine.

Froststar's words echoed in his head.

"R-reedheart... You... you have to take the kits... you have to take them to ShadowClan..."

I did as I promised. Reedstar hardened his heart. There was to be no more mercy for ShadowClan today, whether they had RiverClan blood or not. But I can't keep them safe anymore, whoever they are now.

OOC: The same goes for Reed. I can kill anyone who wants to die. <3

Firepaw was a few cats behind Reedstar. She had a furious look in her eyes. They were flaming with what could have been fire. Her orange fur was sleek and silk like. This would be Firepaw's first battle and she was slightly excited but now she was pure anger.
"Shadowclan will beg for mercy under the three clans," she hissed. Firepaw's ears were flattened against her head. Her gaze looked at the other two clans standing on the hills. Surely Shadowclan will fall under the wrath of Thunderclan, Riverclan, and Windclan Firepaw mused.

Beewhisker padded toward the marsh with the rest of Riverclan, though his heart wasn't in it. Was the slaughter that was coming truly right? Sure they'd killed his clanmate, but couldn't they just kill the one cat responsible, not the whole Clan? The warrior shook his head, driving the thoughts away. Whatever Reedstar said was what he would follow.

Behind Beewhisker, Heronpaw plodded along. The young cat had only just learned to fight, so naturally he was pretty nervous. Not to mention, he wasn't a fan of hurting cats. But if his mentor was there, he'd be okay, right?

The two Riverclan cats settled down to wait for Reedstar's orders, keeping apart from the other clans despite the brief alliance.

Spottedflight cast a glance towards the other Clans. So they aren't cowards she thought, her tail still flicking, ShadowClan won't stand a chance.

OOC: *many curse words* so many cats for me to roleplay ;-; ugh, but I can't help but do so....
IC: Spottedfeather took her position next to Dewstar, but only slightly behind. Shadowclan needed to pay for trecheary they have done, and three clan against them would do just the thing. They would be ripped another bumhole She glared in the direction of their camp, then looked back to all the cats that were ready for battle.

Stormclaw shuffled, flexing his claws into the wet ground, his position behind Reedstar. He was ready for blood, and it was going to be much. His glare was past Windclan and Thunderclan, almost straight into Shadowclans camp. He was ready to rip some butt He looked back to his kits, which were not apprentices, and smiled. Stormclaw hoped they were ready for battle, but he would protect them anyway.

Hawkflight stared wide eyed at Thunderclan and Riverclan, realizing how many cats were here to battle. Even though she had kits at home, she wanted to come battle, and their were capable cats who would watch them. She would come back alive, and well, she wanted to have her first battle, actual battle. This was going to be great, she grinned, flexing her claws.

OOC: Seriously, Shadowclan is going to DESTROYED.

Snow-eye, accompanying Falconstar at the front with the other leaders, Dewstar and Reedstar, along with perhaps even the other deputies, she was calm and showed no fear in battle. It was the point - ShadowClan had done so much to the three clans in the past, two murders and now kidnapped one of their apprentices. What kind of sick warriors are they? So desperate that they would just go around and do other things instead of actually trying to help their clan. Gather herbs, catch prey, organize who was ill and who wasn't instead of just outright murdering two cats from other clans and completely stealing a WindClan apprentice who was completely innocent, and moreover... Lavenderheart's daughter! Just grabbing a SkyClan descendant and not even thinking about it? Such menacing cats they were, and always will be, that ShadowClan.

Lavenderheart, although had grown older since her last battle, was furious. Her blue eyes gleaming with menace, this had gone too far. She had lost Cloudkit, then Berrypaw, Bluekit, Frostkit; afterwards, losing Badgerpaw and her mate. Now, this had gone on enough. Did StarClan not want SkyClan to prosper under another clan? Where was her family to help and aid her the most? Taking Whitepaw was one thing that was quite a bit already, but harming her in any way will lead to all of their throats being ripped to shreds.

And last, but not least, there was Ravenwing. She had gone to the fight filled with herbs, hidden in the case of serious injuries to call them in. If needed, it may be necessary to just abandon those supplies and help in combat, but that shouldn't happen. ShadowClan was outnumbered, and they would not win. As long as everyone in the three clans came out safe, especially a tom she was looking out for in RiverClan, then everything should end well. The dark clan should simply stop this and surrender - there was no chance for them.

Ooc: I didn't know about Riverclan either ;A;

Ic: Stormheart growled, pelt bristling from where she was next to Stormclaw, her claws out and digging in the ground. Oh, she would make them all pay. No mercy was coming from her. She was a very, very angry she-cat, and nothing good came from that...At least not for Shadowclan.

Sunfur stood, a few feet behind Reedstar, his eyes with a worried look. This was his first battle after he became a warrior, and he wasn't sure what to expect, for obvious reasons. As he looked down at his paws, he unsheathed his claws and swiped at the dirt, sending just a bit of the brown substance a couple feet away. But he kept his mouth shut, not a sound coming from him but his breaths.

Sunface was kneading the ground with her claws. Her kits were apprenticed, so she was no longer a queen. She worried for her kits, feeling a strong urge to gather them into her and protect them, but letting them be. Now is not a good time to show weakness. She instead shuffled closer to her mate, anxiety flooding her. Still, she remembered how youthful and happy Snowface was. She was very pretty and a much-loved warrior. A very gentle mentor and a kind-hearted cat. She was my mentor. She was like my mother. Suddenly, Sunface felt a wave of rage fill her and the anxiety was replaced with hate. She looked to Addertail. "Soulfang is ours!"

Swiftnose was solemn. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want to witness the three Clans utterly destroying ShadowClan. It didn't feel right, but he knew it was StarClan's will to punish the fourth Clan for their evil actions. He had tried to convince Dewstar otherwise, but she wouldn't listen to him. She usually didn't. He wasn't present to fight, but to ensure the safety and protection against illness and disease from the fighting warriors. "Remember," He had announced loudly when the three Clans had come together. " ShadowClan is sick. Don't fight with your fangs. Don't let their blood mix with your wounds. Use claws and you should be okay, just don't overdo it. There is no need to overdo it, anyway; not when we have so much of an advantage."

Dewstar looked to Reedstar. He had a dark look of anger on his face, but it did not surprise her. ShadowClan wronged every Clan, even themselves. Even SkyClan. She took note of Lavenderheart, standing prepared for battle. "It appears that it is four versus one. She said to no one in particular, and then signaled the other leaders and their deputies that she wished to speak with them. "Shall we come up with a strategy, or are we going to unleash chaos? I don't know about either of you, but I will not accept surrender."

Firepaw stood tall and her eyes gleamed with pure anger still.
"No mercy," Firepaw repeated to herself.

Stormblaze's tail lashed back and forth as his claws ripped the ground accidently.

Nightpaw had a feisty look on her face. She was clearly upset with Shadowclan.

Sorrelpaw was waiting with the other medicine cats, his eyes fixed on Reedstar. I hope you know what you are doing... The apprentice thought, looking at the other medicine cats. "If I need help and Lichencloud is busy... Can I get help from you?" He mewed nervously.


Silvercloud was behind Reedstar, fear flowing from her pelt. She was unhappy that she was picked for the battle patrol, but had to fight for her clan. Her claws were unsheathed, and she knew that this would gnaw at her for the next few moons, and her drowsy appearance made for no such luck, she was aching already.
