Better Run [Open for WC - Staff Generated Event]

Her cracked tail swayed as well as it could, while she stared out into WindClan's wide open moors. The wind shook her fur, but she seemed mindless. Her whiskers and ears flicked and twitched as the wind continued to pick up.

OOC: Shortness

Leafsnap and one of her new kits, Glidingkit, played moss ball in the den, inviting others to join in. The she-cat let out a pure of satisfaction as Glidingkit hit it harder than before, bouncing off Leafsnaps forehead.

Glidingkit smiled, the wind blowing in her fur as she hit the ball, feeling determined. This was the first time she felt this way, and she just spoke for the first time less than a quarter moon ago. It was "uh-oh". She looked around for her siblings and continued to play.

Mistypaw sat at the edge of the camp. As the days passed by, she spent more and more time here. She loved the wind ruffling her fur and today was especially windy.

Icestorm sat in the camp clearing, enjoying the cool breeze.

ooc- I want my cats to join, but do they have to die?... So I will post Cedarfur and Smokepelt when I get an answer.

Falconstar and Eaglethorn shared a rabbit while chatting about WindClan politics, good stuff like that. It was a nice day, not that cold enough. Well, especially not for them, but just in general. They were currently discussing whether or not gatherings were a necessary component of their lives.

OoC: Icestorm, don't worry. There's never an event or topic where you're forced to kill your cats.

Emberleaf finished sorting the last of his herbs in his den before exiting into camp to relax a bit. He grabbed a dove from the freshkill pile and sat down by himself. The medicine cat took a big, juicy bite of his delicious meal and purred. What a wonderful day, the ginger tom thought with a smile.

Lightfoot pulled a hare to the camp clearing, dropping it next to Icestorm and leaning back onto his haunches. "Lovely day, Icestorm. Care to share a meal with me?" The white tom asked, his usual kind spirit shining through his eyes.

Icestorm turned his head towards Lightfoot. "Of course," he tucked his tail under his paws, making room for his friend. He soon saw Cedarfur trot up to him and gave a nod. "So, how's handling those 4 balls of energy going?" he half whispered in his ear, half chuckling, knowing kits could be a pawful. He then turned back to Lightfoot, hoping he wasn't being rude. "Wow, great catch."

Cedarfur sat next to his brother and Lightfoot, giving a polite nod. He could tell when his brother was joking, and didn't take any offence. "Ha ha, very funny. But ya, everything is actually going pretty good," the tall tom glanced back to were his mate was sitting. They are truly wonderful.

The grey tom saw his father and uncle a little ways off. I wonder what they are talking about... Smokepelt decided to let them chat, without him lingering around, so he walked over to Leafsnap and her kits. "Hello Leafsnap, hello kits." The grey tom was usually not to fond of kits, but they were his Uncle's after all.

Goldenpaw stretched out. She enjoyed the wind ruffling her fur and she relished it too. At the moment, she wished she were on the moors but the camp would do for now.

Mistypaw saw her father and uncle with Lightfoot and her mother in the nursery playing moss ball. She felt that she had been replaced by her new siblings. She had been like this since Foxkit had died. All of the Clan didn't know but she grew darker each day.

Leafsnap finished up the game and looked over at Mistypaw. "Mistypaw, darling, come here!" She called. She then saw Smokepelt, her nephew in-law. "Hi, Smokepelt. How are you?"

Glidingkit ignored everyone and gnawed on the moss ball, an angry face on her as she attempted to destroy it.

Lightfoot settled next to Icestorm and dipped his head in greeting to Cedarfur. The brothers were pleasant company, he decided. "Kittens, right? They can be a pawful at first, but I promise they'll be hard to let go of when they become warriors." He meowed from experience before taking a bite of the hare and passing it to the older brother. "One heartbeat they're the size of a field mouse, the next they're bringing in prey almost as big as a warrior!" He purred. His tail flicked all the while, his thoughts recalling days past of his kits tumbling from the nursery.

Mistypaw reluctantly padded over to Leafsnap. In the past few days she spent more and more time at the edge of the camp and rarely went into the nursery.

Icestorm took a small bite of the hare, not being particularly hungry. "Yes, they do grow fast. Faster than I can keep up." He thought about his son Sharppaw, who didn't receive his Warrior name. We'll meet again, I promise. The tom looked up at the sky.

Cedarfur watched his kits. He noticed Mistypaw looked reluctant to hang around Leafsnap and Glidingkit chewing on a mossball alone. Well, they defiantly have spunk. He turned his head back to the two warriors. "I'll be right back." He said as he got up, then trotted over to Glidingkit. "I didn't know that a mossball could taste so good." The tall tom laid down on his stomach so he wouldn't overwhelm his daughter.

"I'm doing fine, you?" He looked down at Mistypaw.
